Once got reseated from one next to door offered, night went fine. Not many people dining here this weekday night. A bit stuffy for me. Had another "craft" vodka since waitress demoted my non-stocked brand as "viscous". Actually it is refined 8X. She must have been thinking of another brand like Stoly. Menu was still focused on Winter although sounded... More

went here with my husband for a Sunday brunch and it was delicious. I mentioned in the reservation that it was our anniversary and they gave us a personalized menu to keep with our names and a congrats. That was awesome!!

There are very few restaurants in Chicago with a view like North Pond. (Take a look at their website to get an idea of the setting) Our table's service was fine, a little cold to start with but then again my Pop has lost some "filters" as he gets older so I can imagine the wait staff might be taken... I went for a nice dinner when in town visiting my significant other, we had never tried a Michelin Star restaurant before, and were nervous it may be too stuffy or formal for us. It was wonderful however! As long as you were dressed properly (business casual) they were happy to help out, explaining menu items, wines, and recommending options.... More

Attended a group dinner and was pleased with the experience. Views and grounds around the restaurant are beautiful. Food had a good selection for a group and all food came as ordered. Wine pairings were excellent.

It's a beautiful place with beautiful surroundings but I was a little disappointed with the food. Almost every course has fruit or nuts in it which I don't like. Don't go there if you're very hungry because the portions are small. I had some citrus desert with olive oil cake (the menu said,) but it literally had two small crumbs... More

I've been lucky enough to dine here before, on special occasions. Yesterday's visit was my first in ~ 3 yrs but once again, it didn't disappoint. Expect an eclectic, seasonal, foodie meal. The table can opt for a chef's choice prefix or everyone can order ala carte. Never had a course I didn't like at North Pond. Most choices on... More

My brunch at North Pond was truly spectacular. They gave me a seat with an excellent view of the Chicago skyline and the nearby park trail, so I got to see dogs, squirrels, and mallards while I dined on some amazing food. First, I ordered a warm rye cocktail that helped warm me up on this frigid November morning. Next... More
