Our group of Seniors traveled to the Driehaus Museum for a tour and selected Bijan's as the perfect place to walk to lunch. The food and service was amazing. I had called to reserve a table for 11 people and we had a great window...seat facing State St. to people watch.More

We were here for an early dinner before heading to the theater. Self-parking is discounted at the Embassy Suites a half block away. Service was friendly and efficient. Our waitress knew we were going to the theater and paced our meal accordingly. We started with...delicious cocktails and moved onto comfort food in the choice of the meatloaf and a special, which was shrimp with a lemon caper sauce. Fresh bread was served before and during the meal. For dessert, we shared a moist and tasty bread pudding. People were dressed in business casual and casual and were of all ages. The menu has numerous offerings and we'll be back to try more.More

The restaurant was recommended by my nearby hotel; I should have trusted my instincts when I entered, but was tired so thought I would give it a try. The French Onion soup was good, but then it went way downhill - I thought it would...be tough to screw up a wedge salad and a cheeseburger, but was wrong. The wedge salad was drenched in so much cheap blue cheese dressing you could not find the small wedge beneath. I asked for my burger medium well, and it came out as a big mess on a plate, with one side of the burger burned and the other side barely seared - really rare in the middle, and not for nothing, really small - clearly straight out of the Sysco freezer. You could taste the dirty grill throughout When I told the server it was raw but I ate it anyway, he shrugged and that was that. Avoid this place at all costs.More

We were hungry and wanted dinner at a “proper” restaurant rather than s fast food place. We stumbled on Bijans and although busy a table was found. Friendly efficient service, tremendous range of beers and spirits and excellent homestyle food. We shared the baked brie...starter - delicious - and went on to meatloaf and pot roast. Both tasty and nourishing. A lively place but not overwhelming and very good value. Sports on the big screen and smart decor. So refreshing to come across such an unpretentious place in metropolitan Chicago!More

Within walking distance of where we were staying and thought the menu looked interesting. Food was very good and would particularly recommend the meatloaf as the jus and sauce supplied were excellent

While visiting Chicago on business I stayed at a nearby hotel so I ate breakfast and lunch at this restaurant. Both of my meals were delicious and I had a fantastic waiter. There is an option to dine outside which I did once but the...restaurant is on a busy street so it was very loud and kind of unpleasant because of the traffic. Other than that, I have no complaints. I had great food and the bill wasn’t overwhelming.More

I was walking around looling a for a place to watch saturday football, have a drink and eat. I really lucked out. Sat at bar and John, a Romanian bartender, was great company. The linguine and shrimp wad delicious and my tequila double carretas were...super!!!More
