Had to cancel my order yesterday afternoon - within 4 minutes of the original order. The woman became very rude, nasty, and banned me from doing any call - in orders in the future. Super unprofessional and hood.

Great place Great food Nice atmosphere easy to get too. The customer service is a pretty awesome too.
I just had the best chicken ever. If you have not had this Harold’s your missing out. I would eat it everyday.
I heard this was a must stop landmark in Chicago, so I gave it a try. Came around lunch time not a long wait food was cool.
Visited Chicago this weekend and was told I must try Harold's chicken shack. So we did. The chicken was delicious. It reminded me of Popeye with a twist of homecook chicken. At least, that's my take of it. They sell whole wings which was a...nice change. Most places sell party wings or wing pieces. I also tried their Oowee Sweet Tea. It was sooooo good. The staff was really friendly.More
Southern Fried chicken was originally fried in a pan, not in a deep fryer. While Harolds probably uses a deep fryer, you would think it comes from an iron skillet. Gat half a chicken because the pieces are smaller than you are used to if...you go to KFC, etc. Reason is they are lightly breaded and not coated in batter. Also the flour is salted but not spiced heavily so it's more like fried chicken should be. $10.01 gets you two breasts and two wings, fries, slice of white bread, a little cup of slaw and if you don't pay extra for a special sauce you get a little cup of Harold's kicked up catsup. Fries are OK, wimpy and soft but good. Slaw is cabbage and mayo - that's about it. But the chicken is really good. It's fried up so crispy that you can eat the rib portion on the breast. The small wings are full wings including drum and flapper, not halves. They are small almost like at a Chinese buffet but really tasty. The place is bare bones - order at the window and take a number. Dump your tray at the end. Like fast food. But I'll give the chicken a true 10.More
There is no match for Harold's Chicken. It has a distinct flavor and smell. My favorite location is 127th Halsted. While everyone agrees they like Harold's it's not unusual to have a favorite spot. The 127th St. location is small. You can eat in or...carry out. There's also a drive thru. My favorite are wings with the special Harold's sauce and fries! Prices are reasonable and wait time is minimum.More
It is a little small but I love their wings and whatever that sauce is they put on both the wings and the fries.
Harolds Chicken still has the unique flavor in their sauce that no other can match. I have had fried chicken in quite a few states, even the Philippines but Harold's STILL corners the market on GREAT tasting chicken and Sauce. Food priced low and wait...time was minimal. Keep up the GREAT JOB...More
