This great place has great Thai food with a Asia flare.... Getting the order correct will take sometime. The dumplings were chicken and vegetables with sauce. The Singapore noodles without shrimp and pork came to Table although she order only chicken. That was provide at first. The pork and shrimp Singapore noodles we remade only with chicken.... The pot stickers were 6 in number, they went quick, Pati Thai noodle with Chicken was tasty. The seaweed salad was totally forget. It was requested again. It the would use writing down the order would possible increase order accuracy. Shalom 💎💎💎——-shaded

Mixture of Japanese, Thai, Chinese and other cultures in a restaurant that feels when you walk in like a fast food place but is a notch above. Service was fast and engagingly brusque but food was fine, very affordable and speedily delivered. A bit noisy-- lots of students eating here for lunch. Next time, will probably try a more upscale Asian restaurant. But if you're looking for quick and affordable, this could be your place.

Very fresh. Had a variety of appetizers delivered -- garden rolls, chicken satay, edamame, vegetable croquettes, pork egg rolls. Yummy!

Every time we order from Noodles Etc, the order is messed up. The forget items or package your food so it is smashed and/or dripping. Even when you put a note to check the order, they mess it up. When you call to ask for the missing items, they tell you they can deliver it in an hour. If you request a refund, they tell you that they are unable to do that. And, they hang up on customers - tipping customers. I've been eating there since 2002! Not any more, they are RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL. The food is mediocre. They do ok b/c there are limited options in Hyde Park. I'll use Door Dash or Grubhub to order good Asian food. Good riddance Noodles, Etc!

Fails to be consistent along with not delivering quality and warm selections. They passed the failure off to the customer. This restaurant use to serve quality selections. Now, the food is not fresh when delivered. If you eat in this establishment, the food and service is completely different. When we complained, they told us we couldn't order from them anymore. Not even interested in correcting the issue. Don't waste your money or time with this failure of mediocre Asian disappointment!!!

Once you start tipping them the expect you to tip them all the time once you stop the service and food becomes poor. I hope one day someone Rob them just so I can get a laugh out of it and they will deserve it.

Be prepared for them to take your money for a takeout order and promptly ignore you for over an hour while they serve other people. Would suggest withholding payment until they can actually produce food for you.

That’s kind of it... It’s an oriental place with noodles and so on (in case that is not clear from the name). My daughter loved the food and I was impressed by the miso soup and some other fares (we decided on 2 appetizers per person and got full). Service is fast and fairly friendly. I also liked the place’s unpretentious atmosphere and large bright windows. Overall a great quick lunch.

Be sure to eat here. Low prices - delicious food - lovely staff. We enjoyed this experience and will come back on our next trip to Chicago.

Restaurant has a chain feel, but a quick look indicates no? We had the Thom Kha, Chicken Pad Thai, and Thai Spring Rolls. Good menu with a wide, pan-Asian range. I could have done with larger portions and more spice options, but the price was right for what was delivered. The spring rolls underwhelmed a bit. The gentlemen next to us got distinctly larger portions of the same dish, but they were military in uniform and I support their generous treatment :) Overall good enough value for the fourth star.

Went here on Sunday while at the 57th Street Art Fair in the Hyde Park area of Chicago. Our service was good, the food that I ordered was OK, the Chicken Satays were overcooked, not what I am used to when ordering Chicken Satays. The Spring Rolls were good but very skimpy on the shrimp, only saw one piece in the entire order. My husband had a chicken dish (ground Chicken) he enjoyed it. My granddaughter had soup and she said it tasted like noodles and water, no flavor. My daughter tried it and agreed. Not sure what my son-in-law had but it was a noodle dish and he enjoyed it as did my daughter with her shrimp and broccoli with oyster sauce. I had Vietnamese iced coffee and it was pretty watered down, I have had better. I am sure this is a popular spot, its in a great location and we now have dined at Noodles, Etc. but I wouldn't return since there are a lot of Vietnamese/Thai Restaurants plus it's probably 30 miles from home and not worth the trip back for me! The prices were very reasonable. It worked out perfect since we were attending the 57th Street Art Fair. I would tell someone to check it out, they might order something very delicious, it just didn't work for me!

Busy place that offers a wide selection and large portions. The three of us shared two orders. Staff friendly.

Enjoyed a nice Thai meal at Noodles Etc in Hyde Park. It was a pleasant surprise. The service was attentive and excellent. (I think our server’s name was Eddie.). I had a delicious pad see yu (I’m sure I spelled that wrong), which I loved. My spouse had pad Thai which she said was good but not great. We all shared a cucumber salad which was yummy. I understand in the summer months you can eat outside. That sounds very nice.

We came here after a tour at University of Chicago. We were seated promptly. My son ordered the wonton soup. It was massive. It had thin noodles along with chicken wonton which looked more like potstickers. He really liked it. I had the curry noodles with chicken. It was so flavorful. The menu says it is spicy but it was not spicy. Service was great and the meal was cheap. About $22 including tax and tip. Tip: parking is on the street and you have to pay except on Sundays.

My family and I enjoy dining here frequently. I recommend the yellow curry with vegetables, since I can't eat gluten. My wife and daughter really like the pancit. When the weather is nice, small parties can get outdoor seating. The carry-out service is also usually very fast and friendly. I'm not claiming this is the most authentic Asian cuisine and it's not fancy. But the food is tasty and affordable. The service is also friendly.
