It's funny that they call this place Susie's Beef because I have NEVER had a beef sandwich with so little beef in it....I actually took it back and got my money back! It was ridiculous! When I brought it back and showed the owner she said "Yes, that's about the right amount of meat we put on them".. REALLY??? When... More

When I was growing up, my father used to take my brother and me to the movies every Wednesday afternoon. Those were the days when every movie theatre showed different movies. Afterward, we always went to what my father lovingly called "a greasy spoon" for hamburgers. There was one near every theatre, a tiny diner that served great hamburgers. Well,... More

This is a little greasy-spoon hut on Montrose with a wide variety of fast food including tamales, hot dogs, hamburgers, etc. I go here when I am in a rush. Not always the cleanest of places. The area is also a little on the rough side although not bad. Industrial look to the street/area.

A small hot dog stand with a lot more, located just west of Pulaski on Montrose. We had a hot dog, a pizza puff and poppers and the total bill was less than $8.00. Everything was hot and tasted good. It would be nice if they took credit cards, but they don't, though they do have an ATM machine.

I've been looking for good chili cheese fries in Chicago and after searching online I found this place . They were a little expensive to me $9.70 to be exact , but they were worth it ! the presentation was surprising i was expecting them on a disposable container but you actually get them in some sorta fried tortilla shell... I had the philly cheesesteak and fries. Tasted so good the place should be called Susie's Fine Fast Food.

Go for the shakes, Order from the vast selection of flavors. The eats menu is also huge. The food will be greasy, but good. Sometimes the service is slow, but they're actually open late night. Definitely off the tourist path.

Sigh. And I had heard such remarkable things. I ordered a veggie cheese burger, fries and a soda with no ice. They got not a single thing correct. The burger came out with no cheese. The fries were unseasoned and bits and pieces. The soda had ice. Definitely a bummer considering the rave reviews I have heard.
