Food was very good, service was excellent (there when you wanted them, and then gone so you can enjoy your company). It has the neighborhood feel, and the dining room layout follows suit, with tables very close and noise level high. So, if you are looking for something quieter, I don't recommend.

Very reasonably priced with a great selection, takes reservations and has valet parking. From intimate 2 people tables to a very comfortable seating for 7 of us family members out for Saturday night. A warm plate of pizza was delivered as we looked over the menu and loaves of bread for each end of the table then appeared. Plenty of... More

This is an old school, throwback Italian restaurant. I may have been here back in the 1970's but I don't actually remember! I ordered the breaded veal cutlet. It was maybe a bit too thin and a bit tough.....and my angel hair pasta side was a bit too garlicky for me. I did enjoy the pizza bread free appetizer, soup... More

I really felt like we were family. Everyone treated us like they were happy we came. The dining area where we were seated was small and charming. The wait staff all wore white shirts and vests, and the tables had starched white cloths. We started with the complementary small pizza slices and a large loaf of bread. Both soup and... More

This is the best Italian food on the north side of Chicago . Servers are friendly and attentive. Food is authentic Italian . Reasonable prices. Make reservations or you will have a wait.

Come for the food, which is fantastic. Authentic recipes, expertly prepared. Then head to the bar for a drink. This place has a great atmosphere and fabulous service.

The Dover Sole at Sabatino's was the best I've ever eaten . Perfectly prepared and delicious! Melted in your mouth. Highly recommended.

Went here for the first time to celebrate my daughter's birthday. I liked it from the moment we walked in the door. It was a walk back into a 1960's or 70's Italian restaurant. Very welcoming and it made me feel like I was walking into a family restaurant. You can feel the history. The menu has more than enough... More

Welcome to Sabatinos a beautiful old school Italian restaurant with delcious food and great ambieance. You get bread including focaccia - a kind of pizza bread, then a salad and soup, then an entree - try the veal Parmesan, and a side of pasta. Many recommend the baked Alaska dessert. Sabatino"s is dimly lit with flowers on every table, this Italian-American restaurant has been the perfect date restaurant for about 25 years. Diners might have their steak or seafood entrees complemented by the serenade of strolling musicians in the main room or piano music in the bar area. Angelo Pagni, who owns the restaurant with his brother, Enzo, said Sabatino's is popular in the neighborhood for a lot of reasons, food and atmosphere and chief among them. Stop in today!
