As tourists from the UK, we were looking forward to trying the 'best deep dish pizza' in Chicago, according to our Uber driver and walking tour guide. Though we loved the pizza with the butter base, it still feels like a pizza hut inside rather than a proper pizza restaurant. Whilst the pizza was great as it's not like anything... More

Local niece took my wife & I here for our 1st Chicago deep dish pizza. Pretty good, crust was more crunchy biscuit based than doughy, different, but good. Good service even though we had to wait a while on a Sat night.

I haven't had pizza everywhere but in my 60 years I've had a lot. Lou Malnatis deep dish is the best hands down.

We ended up here because of a poor pizza a few weeks ago. Took my daughter to a pizzeria a couple weeks ago in Michigan. They had a Chicago style deep dish pizza on the menu, we ordered it and when it came I laughed out loud at how not Chicago style it was. So...bringing us to present day, we... More

Saw this place because it was close to the Apollo theater, plus we wanted some authentic deep dish. The pie was amazing, thick tomato layer, layered pepperoni and peppers, plus enough cheese in one piece to cover a typical large pizza. It was amazing. We ordered a medium which had 6 substantial pieces. We had ordered a salad and next... More

Maybe this is just the New Yorker in me. But this pie was meh. We had two personal deep dishes, and neither was worth it at all. Not even worth $5. U can easily get a better meal somewhere else for ur fiver. This is also taking into account the earlier pizza that we had in the day, a chain... More

We went the Monday after Christmas at 9:30 and the place was surprisingly packed. Luckily four seats were available at the bar for us to pass the 15-minute wait for a table to open. Two in our party started with the house salad. It was a nice size with standard greens, tomatoes, croutons, etc. While the salad was good, it... More

Thick, thin, extra thin all come out as ordered. We called ahead and ordered our pizza and reserved six seats...instead of an hour wait it arrived in 20 minutes after we had the family chicken-club salad _ we ordered with less cheese ( ignored our request). Our beer and bottle of wine took 20 minutes to arrive. My meat lasagna... More

Looking for a place to eat at Lincoln Park found this restaurant. Crowded with different aged people, always a good sign. the pizzas were great. i had the thin crusted pizza and had to choose the ingredients myself. you have to wait for 20 minutes, but it is worth every minute. Also a small choice of pasta;s and of course... More
