Was really looking forward to this meal and I have to say I was really disappointed. Nothing stood out like a place of this caliber and cost should. The flavors were all over the place and textures missed the boat. Drinks were overpriced sugar waters....More

We've been here a few times, and the service is always amazing. The food is very limited in dishes so check the menu. The portions are very small but filling. They encourage sharing, and we shared a starter between four of us, an appetizer each...More

We spent our anniversary weekend in Chicago and booked Boka as the big fancy anniversary dinner, it was perfect. The interior is so cool and modern, young fun crowd, small amazing dishes...it was expensive, but we were happy to spend such a special occasion here.

The casual atmosphere of the restaurant is deceiving. There is nothing casual about the attention to detail on display throughout the dining experience, the impeccable service, the perfectly timed service of courses, and the most scrumptious food I have had in a long time. A...More

Without the tasting menu and with suitable accompanying drinks: $150-$200. We were there on restaurant week (a good bargain at $44/each), but $40 at the bar and wine at the meal ($50) got us up to $200.

No, however it draws a substantial theater crowd so you typically see people in at least business casual. But no formal dress code.

Named one of Food & Wine magazine’s “Best New Chefs 2008,” Executive Chef Giuseppe Tentori features contemporary, seasonal American food. The Michelin Dining Guide recently awarded BOKA one star and the Chicago Tribune gave three, calling it “One of the city’s best.” Chicago magazine awarded three stars as well and has called it “The hottest ticket in town.” Chef Tentori was named a rising star by both Star Chefs and Restaurant Hospitality magazine, and BOKA was awarded the 4 Diamond AAA in 2009. A great spot for wedding receptions, corporate meetings, pharmaceutical dinners and cocktail parties, the space allows for private parties in a variety of rooms both private and semi private. The restaurant was designed by Bogdanow Partners and features sweeping architectural sails and a stunning 90 seat outdoor patio.
