A truly wonderful experience from the moment you are greeted by the hostess. We dined on a Friday evening and while it was quite busy, the restaurant still allowed for discussion. First we we seated at a table overlooking Lake Shore drive. Our waiter then allowed us time to look at the drink menu and take in the atmosphere. Dinner... More

Great Italian meal. Accommodating staff. Beautiful room. Fantastic wine. All adds up to a wonderful evening. I had the octopus starter. It's the best and freshest I've had in the states. The gnocchi made cry it was that good. The Bistecca alla Fiorentina (Tuscan Porterhouse) was delicious. 24oz so I had enough to have steak and eggs in the morning.... More

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here. We were fortunate to get a great table by the window. This restaurant uses space well; it was nice to not sit on top of people. In addition, the restaurant was not overly noisy. I highly recommend the gnocci - it was heaven! This is a great special night out restaurant, where... More

One of the best experience in Chicago. Very nice atmosphere. Nice people and great food. Not typıcal Italian food. Much improved for gourmet fine dining. I tried twice and was very happy each time. Strongly recommended.

Met here for dinner with one of our vendors. If it weren't for GPS we may have missed it entirely, it's on the second floor of what looks like an office building and is right next to a spa. Once we were inside the entire atmosphere changed! Service was exemplary! We did the 5 course tasting dinner, every dish was... More

I have been here before with great experiences. I went there again with another date and my date said it was the best food he has had in a long time. We ordered the caviar, gnocchi with black truffles, risotto, and the steak. All of the food was outstanding, but the steak was the best. Great service with the staff.

Spiaggia fine italian dining... an uncommendable establishment. The service is embarrassingly poor and non-complaisant. Undesirable menu, not quite palatable... a total disappointment! Unappealing as it is, disproportionate embellisments could've been executed much much better. To say the least, the Agnello, tender cuts of Lamb Loin, was uncomplemented by the meager unsavory sauce, and mildly yielding vinaigrette drizzled white beans. The... More

Fantastic seafood and the most delicate pasta dishes! Our server went above and beyond for my husband's birthday, and the desserts were amazing. We wont be waiting for a special occasion to go back.

We rebounded from a travel mishap (long story) and secured a dinner reservation at Spiaggia - what a break. As I read some other reviews - yes, Spiaggia is expensive. It's a long standing location right on the north end of the Miracle Mile - at Oak Street and Michigan. The real estate along is some of the highest prices... More

We dined at Spiaggia tonight and felt compelled to write a review. Firstly the good points - the restaurant has nice decor and a view showing glimpses of Lake Michigan. The waiters were professional but if anything, a little over-attentive - wiping the table constantly. We were also given an espresso cup of Artichoke soup with our bread which was... More
