Rosebud lives up to its good reputation. We chose to sit outdoors and so did most others. The food was good, but I was disappointed in the bread...I was hoping for a little warm loaf to be served with the olive oil. Service was good and so was the pasta. A glass of house wine is $10. I love Rosebud on Rush! They have the best meatballs!!! Food is great. Service is awesome. Good ambience. Prices are medium to high. But the Rosebud is so worth it! If you like Italian... you'll LOVE Rosebud On Rush.
We visited last night. We have been to the Rosebud over by the United Center which is a much better choice. This place is on Rush so you get the visitors which is nit bad just different. Service as good and food was pretty good Italian food.

We ordered calamari, tiramasu, and chocolate cake. The clams, mussels, and lobster pasta is excellent especially Diablo style if you like it Cajun, I did. The veal was unbelievable. Wine pairing great. Go here great food.
We had a great meal, dining outside in a covered sidewalk area. Service was wonderful. My salad with salmon was awesome. My husband's veal limone was very good. It was fun enjoying great food while watching the people of Chicago stroll by. My only criticism is that the specials were announced without prices, and yes they were significantly higher in... More
