Tough choices of restaurants to enjoy with only 6 days in Chicago but had to try Naha after my internet search of top restaurants. Did not disappoint definitely. Had window seating and noticed its understated but classy ambiance as we came in especially with the wife seating behind a planter with twisted branches. Service was friendly and very attentive (props... More

Lots of restaurants claim to be unique. Most aren't. Naha is -- at least among the seemingly endless array of fine eateries in River North. Some dishes pair ingredients you'll never have thought could go together; other dishes pair ingredients you'll never have heard of. As for atmosphere, Naha is sleek, modern, eclectic and electric. That means there's plenty of... More

We started with the italian buratta. Absolutely superb. Bright dish, lots of color and variety, especially for an appetizer. My guest had the snapper, which was cooked absolutely perfectly, a toasty caramelized outside and a juicy center. I had the roast chicken and pork, (a safe choice, I know) and the pork belly was absolutely scrumptious. Only note might be... More

If you would like to reserve with a voice call, you will notice that they answer the phone in person and that its quiet enough to hold such a call. This is 5 stars. Also the front of house will tell you on certain Thursdays there may be opera singers giving a show. If you eat here you will notice... More

This is a Michelin one-starred restaurant in downtown Chicago that really deserves 2 stars AND is actually affordable ! Most of Chicago's top-notch fine dining establishments are exorbitantly expensive and/or out in the burbs. NAHA's cuisine is brilliantly creative. Not only that but it actually tastes marvelous and extraordinary ! The service is exemplary AND friendly. The only drawback is... More

We visited Naha for my birthday dinner. It was a Saturday night, so it was busy. However, it was so noisy that I couldn't hear the hostess and I had to practically shout for my husband to hear me. We were seated at a small table for two next to other tables for two. The waitress came to our table... More

The food is wonderfully prepared, and the menu gives you lots of choices. The emphasis here seems to be on clean, fresh tastes, rather than unusual flavor combinations. I tend to prefer the latter for fine dining but, having said that, thoroughly enjoyed the meal and thought the pricing quite reasonable for a restaurant of this caliber.

We recent dined at Naha. The staff was so warm and welcoming upon our arrival, we knew it would be a lovely dinner. Did we underestimate how wonderful it would be. Upon reading the menu, the combination of ingredients seemed so random, we asked ourselves, could they really work together? Did they ever! The foie gras was served with several... More

One of the best meals in such a long time. We cleaned each plate and wished for just a bit more, one last bite! From drinks to dessert and coffee, one of the best meals ever. Fresh, local, intriguing, and inventive - I would eat here again and again!

As our fine dining experience in Chicago, my husband and I decided to go to Naha based on my sister’ recommendation who has lived in the city for over 20 years. I must say our first impression was underwhelming. The young man at the reception desk provided a lukewarm greeting. Upon being seated, my husband asked the waitress for a... More
