On a recent visit to Chicago, after reading several restaurant reviews, I made a dinner reservation at Atwood. I don't know if they routinely treat customers who've reserved through Open Table this way, but the host tried to shoehorn us into the most uncomfortable corner and the smallest table in the restaurant, despite the availability of many open tables. Quickly... More

I had a late lunch at Atwood after a flying into Chicago. It was a great place to unwind after the headaches of travel. The space is bright, airy and nicely decorated. Service was friendly and attentive. The roasted beet salad was outrageously good.

Dined here for lunch today. I love the atmosphere and decor - no surprise that I do because it's located in the Hotel Burnham, a Kimpton hotel, and I love Kimpton hotels. What I didn't love was the food. I ordered their special - shrimp marsala and it was just okay...didn't have much flavor. It cost $25. My colleague ordered... More

The breakfast was very good . All ala carte . The service was a little slow but caught up as service went on. The bar is small but the bartenders are very attentive

Let me start by saying I am a picky eater.. not very adventurous.. I love a great steak and baked potato! Of course I do eat other things.. but I am not a foodie and don't like anything too weird. Last Sunday my husband and I tried a new restaurant near our house in the far western suburbs.. A new... More

Excellent food! Went with my husband and was pleasantly surprised. The menu is not extensive, but the food was absolutely delicious and the service was excellent.

I had a late breakfast/brunch there with some friends. The service was very good and the food was also notable. I had the tostada, very good, and my friends got the spare ribs and the truffled eggs. All the food looked great. Price wise, it's ok. I was surprised the wine bottle we got didn't kill my credit card, actually.... More

We had an early dinner prior to a show. We ordered 3 small plates along with one entree to share. Everything was fresh and tasty. Next time we'd probably stick with the small plates, so we could try a variety of items. Service was a little slow, but we made it to the show on time.
