Big fan of Roy's and have had exceptional meals at most of their restaurants - Chicago was very disappointing. Specialty Vodka lime cocktail was excellent. Two had the trio, and one had the butterfish (black cod). Butterfish entree and on the trios was exceptional as always. Mahi mahi on the trio was badly over cooked. Hibachi salmon was also badly... The restaurant is very nice the atmosphere is great, relaxed and the food is so good. I had a butterfish and a pineapple reverse, both were great. I loved the beer and the server introduction to it. Super.!

Loved the food selections - pricey but very well prepared. Nice upscale atmosphere and unique food selections. Manager came by to say hello, great interaction with staff while being served, we did have an issue with the check though - had a gift card that our server rang wrong and then he said we couldn't use it - long story... We came here 3 yrs ago to celebrate my birthday and we happened to be in Chicago again this year for my 40th bday so came back! This visit we had our 6 and 10 yr olds. We all enjoyed the whole dining experience! Loved the food! It was not too busy on a Sunday night.

Took a bunch of friends to Roy's because of having eaten there several times in the past. My favorite has always been the Butterfish. I feel it was not quite the same taste and quantity as two years ago. I think everyone had a good time though. Service was good for us.

I think this plc is a bit expensive but we enjoyed the food.We had the veg Spring rolls, Hibachi Grilled Salmon, rice and French fries. The fish was cooked to perfection (med-well). The fries were absolutely great. It is a nice place to have dinner. We will go back.

We've dined here before and their locations in Vegas and Hawaii. Butterfish melted in our mouth and steak bites flavorful and extremely tender. It was our anniversary do they treated us with martini glasses as a memory. Have the pineapple martinis!!

The quality of the food was certainly on par with Roy's standards. Service was slow. Food was good, hot, and had a good presentation. I wasn't offered bread but other tables were. My servers seemed indifferent. Between my appetizer and main course, the server who took my plates but left the fork and knife, turned back around from a few... More

Last night we celebrated our anniversary with our two adult daughters, plus one husband and one boyfriend. We had made the reservation weeks ago. First the positive:-the food was great, the gentleman manager was great, and our waitress was great, but totally overbooked tending to a party of about 50 men in an adjacent dining room. We had to wait... More
