We hosted a wedding party gathering in a private room. The service was excellent, the food selections awesome and delicious, and the wine flowed freely.

Sat at the bar and had an outstanding "loaded rum" with top-flight Zacapa Guatemalan rum, bitters, twist of orange, and port. Homemade butternut squash ravioli also a standout. Highly recommended.

Went here after reading the reviews. My wife had the veggie pappardelle and I had the lobster ravioli. Both delicious but a bit rich. Very good service. Good wine selections by the glass. Soup and apple salad to start - again vey nice. Bit lacking in atmosphere for a Saturday night and not too busy (we booked but didn't need... More

I may be old fashioned but when I eat at an Italian place in a big city I look at the bus people. If they appear older, I know the place is going to be good. That was the case here. The manager Stephen Fish runs the place like he is a father to the whole staff and every guest.... More

Dined here due to its proximity to Private Bank Theatre and were pleasantly surprised by our dining experience. Our server, Stephen, was excellent from start to finish. Explained the menu in detail and was very attentive. My wife and I both tried two of their house made raviolis and each was delicious. The restaurant itself is below street level but... More

Great little italian downtown and kind of hidden. Lovely warm welcome by the manager, and great service by the waiter. Some of the nicest and freshest pasta I have had. Portions were a good size - not too big or small. Pricing was reasonable too! Would put this on the visit list in chicago ahead of the endless pizza and... More

Enjoyed the restaurant from start to finish. Service was great and accommodating. We requested a traditional Caesar salad instead of kahle and it was fresh and flavorful. I would recommend ordering the smaller portion of homemade ravioli and than ordering the chicken cacciatore to share! Delicious, we had the lobster ravioli and the butternut squash both were fantastic. The waiter... More

Food and cocktails and wine are superb. Service was okay. He started out fabulous but was lackluster later and at the end of service.

We had 3 different raviolis. The first course was a beet (chilled) ravioli followed by crab risotto and sausage ravioli, and finished with lobster ravioli. All were high 8's and low 9's. I paired it with a Tuscan wine that was mighty fine. Wow. Can't wait to come back.
