I was just browsing through Open Table and saw this sad news. For us,Trattoria10 was the best restaurant in Chicago area. Service and food outstanding. This is such a sad news. I hope all of you great people, who provided such a great service are...healthy and will be able to use your talents somewhere else soon! You will be missed. Thank youMore

I regret to post that Trattoria No. 10 is no more. It was a great run. The restaurant announced recently that it was closing permanently. It was reliant on the pre and post-theater crowds and the business lunch crowds, but it did not survive the...COVID-19 pandemic.More

During our brief visit to Chicago, my wife was determined we find some a great Italian restaurant for our first night. This was close by our hotel (Palmer House), so we strolled over on a quiet (Coronavirus effect?) Saturday night. Honestly, I thought they were...closed. There is an upstairs (street level) restaurant that was closed, and the entry to Trattoria No. 10 looked dark. Luckily my daughter saw two people exit, so we crossed the street, and went down the stairs. And we walked into a wonderful Italian restaurant with the feel of many neighborhood restaurants we have enjoyed in Tuscany. Great food, great people, and great service. We really love these kinds of local restaurants with history and special dishes. The food was wonderful, and we highly recommend Trattoria No. 10!More

My first time here after being in Chicago over 20 years. Food was tasty and I love that the menu wasn't 5 pages long. Server was aeesome with a great sense of humor. Three of us shared a dessert- a very rich chocolate tort. YUMMY!...Elevator was out but after a great meal we could all use the exercise of the stairs...More

Some of the best Italian food I've had in the States. From the fresh salad, to the homemade ravioli, to the perfect profiteroles to finish complete with a mini pitcher of heavenly chocolate sauce (definitely get these to share with your table, it is worth...every bite!) I enjoyed every single component of my meal. Would absolutely return and hope to next month.More

Looking forward to having you back with us! Thank you for the kind words and 5 bubble rating! (The Valrhona chocolate sauce on the profiteroles is divine, isn't it?!)

The crispy sautéed whitefish on truffle risotto hit the spot. I would have loved the tiramisu I’m sure, but I didn’t want the calories. Wine list is expansive. Great food and reasonable prices. Cozy dining rooms with white tablecloths. Jillian’s service was friendly but not...overbearing. You won’t go wrong here!!More

Beautiful interior - muted orange and off white arches, dark wood bar, white table clothes, and moody lighting. Old school vibes. The employees are great. Very professional and knowledgeable. We were a big group so sampled a lot of different dishes. The gnocchi and lobster...ravioli were favorites. The whole branzino was a fun dish to try. Great desserts.More

We went before the opera. They were very mindful of our time. Homemade ravioli is their specialty. We enjoyed both the lobster ravioli & sausage ravioli (sausage ravioli is spicy, hubby loved it but too much heat for me). Lobster bisque special was fantastic. Atmosphere...was cozy & romantic ambiance is just what we were looking for that evening.More

Great ravioli and be sure to save room for profiteroles! Great location in the theater district. You can leave your car with the valet and walk to the theater from here. Service is consistently superb, highly recommend checking it out.
