Really though - how are there not more people here? We were the only table throughout the evening (granted it was a Sunday night). As a heads up, it is BYOB, but there's a liquor store down the street. We ended up here because I was looking for Georgian food and read a review that said that you could get... More

Tried this neighborhood restaurant on Peterson (moved from Clark) for dinner and sad to see it so empty. Our server though was very indifferent and cold. There were only 2 other tables filled. The bread however was warm, fresh & delicious! I ordered the Coban Kavurma with Lamb instead of with Beef, with Bulgar & I liked the dish. Lots... More

Our daughter spent quite a bit time living in Turkey and we did a bunch of traveling with her. Once of the things we did when we were there was a cooking class. We made these incredible tiny ravioli called Kayseri ravioli. We were having a craving for them so we headed over to Turkish Cuisine. None were to found... More

We visited Turkish Cuisine and Bakery with a friend who lives nearby. We enjoyed it very much; the service was helpful and good, and the food was delicious. The prices were reasonable, and as others have commented, the place doesn't look like much from the outside. The menu is wide-ranging and interesting. While I can take or leave the belly... More

We had a very enjoyable meal here. The food was really good and arrived fast, hot and tasty. At first glance from the outside you might be tempted to skip this place but if you're looking for Turkish food this is a good choice. Everything we had was very good and seemed authentic though I have no knowledge of Turkish... More

Turkish Cuisine is one of Chicago's true ethnic gems. Amazing homemade bread served with each meal - I have been there once with a very large group and once for a date night, both times, food was outstanding and generally what I expected. This is a great place for a large group and we had an absolute blast and had... More

The food here is really good. I've been here twice at the time of this review, and both times I've ordered the combo platter which includes four different meats: chicken kebab, doner kebab, adana kebab and sis kebab. It also comes with rice and salad. Most of the dishes are between $15 and $20. I'm not 100% sure, but I... More

I should have gone here earlier... but now it will be one of our regular places for sure.. :-) + They have lots of good vegetarian options.. + The bread is really to die for.. we had to control ourselves from eating too much of it and saving some space for the main course.. + we had spicy mashed veggies,...
