This place used to serve the best bbq chicken in Chicago. Too bad the owner decided to sell. The current place is also a BBQ joint but not as good as woodys.

Three of us stopped in on a whim for Sunday lunch. We each ordered a version of the pulled pork and everyone was quite happy with their selection. If you like smoky BBQ then this is a good place for you. Not heavy on the vinegar at all. The fries and slaw were also excellent. We'd go back and maybe... More

Sunday, after an event, pick up a friend and off to Woody's. The aroma hits you first, the flavor second. The staff greets you warmly, the food greets your Tummy warmly. The ribs are perfect, the pulled pork scrumptious. You could eat the sauce with a spoon. Northside, but flavor to match the BBQ in the "hood". Can't wait to... More

I am such a groupon fan, helps me to try new places. This is not a new place in Chicago. But I am glad to get introduced. I bet you could have dinner here for under $20 for 2. BBQ pulled pork, classic sides of corn muffins, baked beans, cole slaw and sweet tea or Diet Coke. Nothing is dry.... More

Absolutely amazing taste of this BBQ place. First time there found it on groupon and really even though when I got there was closed I decided to go back next day and totally worth it's I took a friend of mine and we both agree was a very cozy small rest but with very good food.

Hands down the best BBQ in Chicago! Perfectly succulent sirloin and pulled pork's smokey flavor is outstanding! Don't get me started on the baked sweet potato!

Stopped in today as I was passing by and had the best pulled pork sandwich ever. Way better than the BBQ place I go to in Texas. The sauce was only ok but the great smoke flavor made up for it. They only accept cash.

I was there having barbecue chicken and ribs. Ordered two side salads, one with Italian dressing and one with Ceasar dressing. When I got the bill, the salad prices didn't match the menu. They charged me extra for Ceasar dressing (even though I had asked what dressings were available before ordering and waiter didn't mention extra cost) and for increased... More
