A couple train stops and a short hike from Rogers Park there is the kind of old fashioned ice cream parlor that you will remember from the past (Baby Boomers you know what I’m talking about.)
You wait in a line that seems to move...More
This is one of my favorite places to bike to during the summer. Lickity Split has delicious custard - vanilla/chocolate/flavor of the month and at a reasonable price for the Chicagoland area. The shop is decorated as an old candy shop and there are lots...More
We stopped here to get some ice cream cones. The ice cream custard was great! They had a bunch of old school candies as well. I would definitely recommend this ice cream shop! A great place to bring the kids.

Had never had frozen custard before, and so glad I stopped in here to try it. Was very tasty, the salesperson was knowledgeable, patient, and helpful. Price was to be expected for something that was worth it. Will definitely return!
