I admit it; I’m a sucker for Asian/Chinese buffets, and when I find a new one I will try it out. That’s how I got to Yummy Buffet. Unfortunately, despite the attractive decor, it doesn’t come close to meeting the expectations its website creates. To...begin with, I couldn’t find anything on the buffet at an acceptable temperature (except for some chicken wings that were just being put out). Although was no fried rice on offer, the variety of dishes was ok; but there was nothing I could identify as Korean. There was a respectable selection of sweets as well as some fruit and a few salads. By far the best option (which I didn’t discover until after I had eaten) is the “Mongolian” grill. Vegetables, meats and noodles are prepared to order and therefore served to you hot. The sushi rolls are also pretty good. None of them contain anything raw as far as I could tell, and they are kept on ice to maintain freshness. There are no really good Asian buffets in Chicago, but there are a couple that are ok, at similar price points. Sorry to say, Yummy Buffet is not one of them.More

This place has been close to where I lived and I had never gone. I visited it for the first time a couple of weeks ago and I’ve already went twice. You can get a lot of food for a cheap price and said food...is really delicious. They offer a lot of options and now I’m a fan. Recommended.More
