Went there as out of town folks and found the food to be over the top. They do the best pizza in their own fancy ovens, but are not limited to that. I had the lamb cops and they were to die for. The salads...More

I finally had dinner at Sienna tavern and enjoyed it. The service was very good. The place was packed with the after work crowd, but the noise level was acceptable. The menu is trendy and varied. I had no problem finding something I'd enjoy. The...More

Whether it’s Brunch, Lunch or Dinner, I’ve yet to be disappointed at Siena Tavern. Mostly recently I went for brunch. I was sad when the biscuits and gravy was sold out, but the grilled chicken sandwich I chose instead was great.

Siena has a good location north of the river. We sat outdoors on a pleasant day. Our salads were delicious. My main was short rib ravioli, that was amazing too. Service was efficient.

As we were seated, Luke our waiter suggested ordering meatballs as an appetizer. Great recommendation. We ordered two for six people and it was plenty. They are the size of an old fashioned softball. The taste is gastronomical. The sauce is perfect. Two people ordered...More

Very impressed with the dinning experience. Although they had no gnocci that night I settled for a truffle rissotto, my wife had the duck mac and cheese and our friend had lobster ravioli. Very generous and delicious portions are served. Cocktails and wine were excellent...More

Went for lunch and shared a beet salad, pizza, and charred cauliflower. All were very good with the pizza being the star. The dough was very good. Quick, fast service. Recommended.

It’s really loud and we sat in the bar area. I didn’t get to see the rest of the restaurant so there may have been other areas that are kid friendly. I didn’t mean to select that answer since I didn’t have a good opinion of... More

We've always taken our son with us everywhere, which is one of the reasons he's so well behaved and such a great traveler at 19. I would've totally taken him when he was younger -- the staff was great, and the other diners... More

Description
A polished and energetic restaurant in River North with Italian and Mediterranean influences, Siena Tavern prides itself on offering dishes made in-house, from-scratch. The menu was curated by DineAmic Group's Chef/Partner, Fabio Viviani, also commonly known for his Celebrity Chef accolade as Bravo's "Top Chef Fan Favorite." The décor reflects a hybrid of a rustic Italian market, a fine dining restaurant and a modern, industrial tavern, bridging old world comfort and hospitality with a contemporary menu and design. When setting foot into this 10,000-square-foot eatery for lunch, dinner, happy hour, late night cocktails or weekend brunch, you can expect to taste the same fresh, from-scratch cooking across pastas, pizzas, mozzarellas, gelato and everything in between.
