Been here many times over the years due to the good food and excellent location. The cazuela de pulpo, calamares con ajo y limón are excellent. They have a wine 50% off special which is worth asking about.

The tapas here was really nice especially the grilled calamari, don't miss it! If you're looking for something to drink, I recommend the peach sangria which was really nice !! We tried the paella which wasn't the best, if you wanna try good paella- try La Tasca in DC. The staff here was really nice and attentive and they brought... More

We came here as our old stand by (Cafe BaBa Reba) would not take our party of 8. We are so happy as they treated us terrific and the food was equally as good. This will become our new "Go to" Tapas restaurant.

Found these folks based on other trip advisor recommendations. Everything we ordered was very good. Also, our waitress was great. She first asked if we had ever been here before. When she discovered it was our first time, she tailored her recommendations to our first time visit. She was great!

Came here for lunch during a break from a conference. The atmosphere was warm, the staff friendly and super helpful. (I'd requested 2 glasses of a wine, the waiter brought both the wine I requested and another for a tasting. In the end, the one he selected was better and at a comparable price.) He suggested a few plates that... More

We walked by this restaurant and decided to try it (mainly because we were hungry) and felt like bite sized food. To our surprise we thoroughly enjoyed the tapas and the sangria! The plethora of seafood tapas were amazingly tasty. Instead of a light meal we ended up ordering a large number of tapas dishes and 2 jugs of sangria!... More

I don't normally have very high expectations for the food at tapas restaurants: It's often more about the (group) experience than the food. But I went to Emilio's alone and I was very pleasantly surprised. It was some of the best food I've had - ever! I started with the escargo. Five big plump snails on circles of toast -... More

I stopped here for a late lunch before a meeting - the service was excellent. The food portions were good and the salad was absolutely excellent. My chicken sandwich could have used more spices. The margarita was really great

We go to a lot of tapas restaurants on our travels and this one was up there with one of our favourites. The goats cheese dish was so tasty and the croquets are very good. Brilliant sized portions. We shared 5 dishes and loved them all. The pitcher of red sangria was very good. Our waiter was also very good... More

I'll start off by saying the food here was excellent, super tasty and cooked to perfection! The only downfall is that a lot of the food was quite spicy and traditional Spanish food uses very little to no spice. I'm not sure if it was like this to suit American tastes, but that was the only downfall. Overall, the service... More

Staying in Streeterville

Neighborhood Profile
Streeterville is where visitors head for play at Navy Pier, a pseudo amusement park and development of restaurants, shops, rides, and other activities. You’ll find lots of action and excitement on the docks. Along the pier, you’ll see the statue of the captain for whom Streeterville is named. While you enjoy your fair share of sightseeing at the pier, you can also visit other popular attractions there such as the Chicago Children’s Museum and the Chicago Shakespeare Theater. Off the pier you’ll find more restaurants from low-cost pubs to high-end establishments. Arts and culture aficionados should be sure not to miss the Museum of Contemporary Art.
