First of all this place doesn't take reservation so go at least 4 hours before you plan on sitting down to get your name on the list. We showed up for dinner and were waiting for a spot by the corner bar first come first...More

I walked over in the mid afternoon from my hotel and was able to be seated at the bar right away. It is not hyperbole to say that the burger I ordered was the best I had ever eaten. What an amazing burger! The hype...More

Had the chance to visit this place during a business trip and it did not disappoint. Ordered the double (which is 3 patties) with cheese, bacon and eggs with a side of Old Fashioned and had a blast. Be prepared to wait, but if your...More

We had the marrow and their signature burger. Both were cooked to order and tasty. Beer and wine list to meet most tastes.

I am fortunate enough to live nearby, but even if you aren't from Chicago, the wait is worth it. I recommend putting your name on the list and then going to a nearby place for drinks. The burgers really are something else. Absolutely delicious.

Heard about this burger and had to try. It was good but probably a little overhyped. It was a quality burger but not the greatest I've ever had.

Walked in at about 10:30-11:00 on a Sunday. They are known for their burgers but have some breakfast type items available. But everyone sitting around us was ordering burgers. This place had people lining up for burgers at 10:00 in the morning. Had to see...More

For years I have been hearing and reading that Au Cheval has the best burger in US. I didn't have an opportunity to go until last night because of the exorbitant wait time. It was a Saturday night with nothing to do so we took...More

neighborhood to visit. Dotted with factories and
