We thoroughly enjoyed breakfast on the Patio. We actually shared a 5 egg omelet with pancakes! Plenty for 2! I also ordered a bowl of berries, we couldn't finish all the food! Nice large portions, service was great. Beware of the weekend wait lines....this is a Hot Spot!

On our recent trip to Chicago, my wife and I always make sure we visit Yolk for a breakfast, even though our Hotel offers free breakfast. If you go to Yolk, you won't be disappointed, large portions and great tasting food, I had the eggs and corn beef hash, it also came with potatoes and pancakes, let me tell you,... More

There is also a Yolk on Grand Avenue and McClurg, a couple of blocks from Navy Pier. I ate here frequently, as I owned a condo for 10 years in this neighborhood. But if you go for breakfast, arrive before 9AM most days or you'll be given a pager and have to wait! It's that popular!

We read the reviews and had to try it for breakfast. LOVED it. Went once for breakfast and had to come back for lunch. The menu is huge and we wished we were in town long enough to try everything. Service was great, the food amazing and large portions. Will definitely dine there again on the next trip. Not the... More

Stopped in for breakfast on a Tuesday morning and the food was exceptional!!! My buddy and I were in town for Pearl Jam and a White Sox game and the manager (and the waitstaff) was super friendly and told us a bunch of places to visit in the city. The food was outstanding. Skillet, pancakes, homemade hash, and the iced... More

I ordered the french toast with fruit, and a side of eggs. It was delicious! The service was great and quick. We went there on a Friday around 1 and it wasn't crowded at all. A nice option when visiting the museums or Millenium Park. *warning for coffee lovers: the coffee was abysmally bad. Just dont.

What a delight. Done in yellow and blue I had to smile when we entered this diner style place. They offer eggs in many ways with plenty of sides. If you wanted it your way, they were happy to please. Portions are generous, served quickly and hot. With a smile. Coffee was good too. We did arrive early. Before we... More

This place has it down. There was a bit of a wait, but worth it. Once your seated, service is quick. Dishes we really enjoyed were: salmon skillet, chicken & waffles, crepes and French toast. Staff was nice and food was very good.

Right down from the Hilton and across from Grant Park and the Field Museum -- bustling on a Sunday morning but very fast service. Food was very tasty - especially the excellent crispy bacon and large serving of OJ. Friendly staff and great meal has it a bookmark for me.
