I recently hosted a shower here for over 60 people. It was the most pleasant experience dealing with a staff that is kind, professional and accommodating. Every request I made was promptly handled and Rachel, the event coordinator handled everything beautifully. Her communication with me...throughout the process was terrific and all I know is that I will always book my private events here from here on out. The positives were a beautifully decorated rustic venue, truly outstanding food and drinks that are generously poured. We went with more of a small plate option, mini burgers, corned beef sliders, marinated chicken sandwiches, mostaciolli, and potato spuds. Food was tender and tasteful. My guests loved taking the leftovers home. Did I mention free valet parking? Negatives - absolutely non.More

We have come to this Curragh Irish Pub on other occasions, but we never realized that there was a private room on the second floor. We happened to go there for a memorial luncheon and the first things that we found was that there was...valet parking and that there was an elevator to the second floor. The room is quite nice, with great ambiance, including a large fireplace, like an Irish manor. We were served with a buffet and among some of the things that we had were salad, a pulled corn beef, a lemon chicken and red potatoes. The staff was very pleasant and efficient. Memorial lunches can be difficult, but The Curragh Irish Pub did a great job for the family and guests.More

Decked out to look like a genuine Irish Pub. Food leans that way. Fish & Chips was great. Great Reuben. Didn't stray too far from the traditional Irish favorites. Good choices of beer. Generally pretty empty at lunch. Close to train; can fill up around...dinner and service can get slow as a result.More

We went to Curragh for brunch because we wanted to watch an out-of-market football game. We told the hostess this, and after some consultation, she seated us in a back room. They did not switch the TV to our requested game. Eventually someone came by...and said it would take a while to switch. Nothing happened, so we asked our server. After 20 minutes someone came and switched the channel. Meanwhile, we had ordered and consumed drinks and ordered some boneless chicken wings. After 15 minutes, the TV was unaccountably switched away from our game. The chicken wings arrived, and they were not boneless. Our server apologized and took them away. We asked about the TV, and she said she would try to find someone. Then someone came from the kitchen and returned the now cold chicken wings and said it would take a while to prepare boneless wings, and we should eat the cold ones. Eventually, "boneless chicken wings" arrived. There was no chicken at all, only fried breading! We tried to send them back, but they said that was the way they made boneless chicken wings. We did not eat them. When our entrees arrived, three of them were incorrect. The corrections did not arrive until we were pretty much done eating. The TV (the reason we went to Curragh, was never switched back to our game, despite several requests. When we were finished, we requested to speak to a manager. A man came from the kitchen, and my daughter, who was hosting this brunch, told him of our dissatisfaction. He became angry, said "we're done here" and walked off. My daughter, who worked as a server in college, tipped the server anyway, saying it wasn't her fault. I have had a good experience at Curragh before, but I will never return.More

Stopped in for drinks and appetizer with friends. We sat in the cozy front dinning area. Service was good. We all enjoyed the Ceili Spuds. We will check out again for a dinner in the future.

We actually stopped in here by accident. We wanted to try the pizza place next door called Giordano's. They told us to go over to Curragh and we could order their pizza and eat it in the pub. Our waitress told us the deep dish...pizza would take 40 minutes so we should try some appetizers to hold us over. So we ordered the Ceili Spuds. i'm not a potato eater but these were delicious. The skins were nice and crispy and the mashed potato inside the skins had bacon bits, sour cream and mozzarella. I liked these almost better then the pizza! Will have to stop again and try their other foods.More
