This is the place to get your cupcakes when visiting Chicago! Such friendly and helpful staff and a great selection of cupcakes! Also, if you do not want to go inside, there is a Cupcake ATM where you order your cupcake outside and it comes through... So cool!

This was probably my highlight of my day and even my summer, this was the best Gluten Free alternative that I have ever had, it truly tasted like a delicious red velvet cupcake. We took the cupcakes to go and enjoyed them at home and you can even get one at all hours using the cupcake ATM. Only downside is... More

the cupcakes at Sprinkles are amazing, there is a flavor for every taste bud. They even have a cupcake ATM, what an ingenious idea. My favorite flavors are carrot, lemon and red velvet.

The desserts at Sprinkles are truly wonderful. The Cupcake ATM was the reason why we visited this bakery. My girls loved the ATM and the cupcakes (red velvet) we as good as advertised. Neat and favorable spot to visit while in Chicago.

If you're looking for a delicious cupcake, go to Sprinkles. Their cupcakes are delicious. We tried the black and white and the dark chocolate banana. Both were incredible. Usually the frosting is the main event on a cupcake and Sprinkles's frosting is delicious: flavorful and rich without being sickeningly sweet. However, the cake is excellent too. It's rich and fudgey... More

What a cute place to stop and get a wonderfully expensive cupcake. Fun flavors and the best is the outdoor ATM machine for a cup cake. So fun and cute.

My family and I are big fans of Cupcake Wars, which means we've heard about Sprinkles Cupcakes for a long time. So, when we passed it while walking around Chicago, we had to stop in. The line was consistent, but the ladies working did a great job taking care of everyone. We tried the Strawberry and Lemon Blueberry--wonderful!

I am not a huge cupcake fan but theirs were incredible. They were moist and very flavorful! We ordered cupcakes inside the store and went back and used the ATM to take home to a friend.

I had never been and thought a cupcake is a cupcake is a cupcake right? I'm from St. Louis and Jilly's cupcakes are pretty top notch, but this cupcake was the bomb! I broke the bottom off and put it on top so I had the cupcake sandwich hack and I really want another one....right now.

Staying in Gold Coast

Neighborhood Profile
Gold Coast
Located just north of The Loop, Gold Coast is one of Chicago’s most affluent and popular neighborhoods. The original Playboy, Hugh Hefner, once had a mansion here. In addition to prestigious hotels, historic mansions and luxury high-rise apartments, you’ll also find upscale specialty boutiques and Michelin-starred restaurants. Walk along Oak Street for your shopping fix and dance through the night along Rush Street. The Newberry Library is also a great stop to check out noteworthy exhibits and rare book collections.
