Our group of 7 was the largest collection of people in the restaurant, and we received very good service. The menus is pretty standard Italian fare, and the food was well prepared. There are fancier places to go that may have more creative dishes, but if you are craving Italian, it is a good place to go.

A friend recommended this restaurant....never chosen before because outside is very unimpressive. But, inside is like an visit to Italy. The food was great and the servers were very helpful. The wine list was surprisingly reasonably priced for very good quality. We had a terrific meal in a wonderful atmosphere.

Been in Chicago a week and have to say this is one of the best meals I've had. Simple- clean- good price- delicious! And a discount for cash payments! Tortellini soup was just fantastic! I asked if they would swap the shrimp in a daily special with chicken and they were happy to do so. It was great. Pasta done... More

You can't go wrong with Anna Maria's! The food is consistently excellent and the service is always very good. In addition to numerous dishes on the menu, there are daily specials. The wine selection is small, but there is variety and you should have no problem finding something you will like. It is usually easy to find free parking on... More

This is a great local restaurant. Tasty food, friendly staff, reasonably priced. I had the chicken piccata - which is the one of the best I've ever had. My husband had veal. Both were delicious. Enjoy!

Our plan was to visit Graceland Cemetery with friends who live across the street from iconic property at Clark and Irving Park, then have lunch at their favorite neighborhood restaurant. We spent two wonderful hours touring Graceland and admiring the gravesites of many famous people. But the two hours we spent dining at Anna Maria Pasteria at the corner of... More

Excellent pasta meal, variety of dishes including pasta, meat and seafood available. I would absolutely recommend it as a Northside stop. On-street parking along cemetery wall.

I love this place! been going here for over 10 years! Whenever I am craving and old fashioned Italian dish and AMAZING Tiramisu - this is where we go. Two sisters, Anna and Maria dedicate themselves to great home-made Italian cuisine and service. Each entree is prepared to order with only the finest and freshest ingredients.

The food is tasty. That said, it is very pricey for the amount of food you get. My wife and I ate every bit of our pasta dinners, something we usually do not do. And the house salad, at $5.75, is a ripoff, containing maybe 50 cents worth of lettuce. The final complaint: even though we got there early in... More

A mix of modern and traditional Italian cuisine, our cozy ristorante has long been a local favorite. Sisters Anna and Maria, originally from the Basilicata region of southern Italy, first opened the doors of Anna Maria Pasteria in 1989.

Beginning at age seven, Anna fell in love with cooking, creating her first plate of Pasta e Fagioli, a simple peasant dish which is now an Italian specialty. Enamored with cuisine and hospitality, Maria followed the family tradition and put her heart into making the best and most heavenly Tiramisu.

After nearly two decades, Anna and Maria continue to dedicate themselves to the finest home-made Italian cuisine and service. Each entree is prepared to order with only the finest and freshest ingredients.
