Every dish looked like a work of art. We felt like we were on Top Chef. It was delicious adventurous food with an Asian influence. Just remember to bring your wine, they are BYOB.

I also respectfully disagree with the glowing reviews of Ruxbin. We dined there last night and thought it was ok. As another reviewer noted, the booth seating is much too uncomfortable to sit in through the entire dinner. Secondly the portions are extremely small. We left feeling like we needed to stop for a burger on the way home. This... More

I respectfully disagree with the glowing reviews of Ruxbin. We dined there last night and had a less than stellar experience. First, the booth seating is much too uncomfortable to sit in through what was for us was a 2 3/4 hour seating. Secondly it was uncomfortably hot and humid in the restaurant. One member of our party had to... More

We found Ruxbin to be incredibly expensive for what it was. Food was just OK -nothing special. For all the hype, we were expecting a lot more. The prix fixe menu was annoying. It didn't used to be that way. They should go back to just a regular menu.

Hard to get reservations so plan ahead! Small dining room, great ambiance and you definitely sit close to your neighbors but no one seems to mind! 5 courses for the table which you share. Lots of in between courses which you don't know about ahead of time. Just the right amount of food to leave quite well filled. All food... More

This was a hole in the wall place that a colleague arranged for dinner - I was skeptical, but WOW - the food. It was amazing. I enjoyed everything on the menu and simply let the fresh flavors wash over me. The meal was simply delicious and everything was in harmony. If you get the chance to eat here, take... More

Nice vibe in this North Asland - West Loop location. Amazing menu. Mostly smaller plates and with the ability to share on a price fixe - I believe only on Sunday nights for $65 per person - so not cheap. But the food is creative and the flavors amazing. The menu is constantly changing so you won't get the same... More

This was definitely a really unique dining experience. From the moment we walked in the door, we were met with such warmth from the staff. It's a quaint little location and I loved the ambience, especially the fact that the walls were decorated with cookbooks and the ceilings were wallpapered with pages out of cookbooks. Also this restaurant has one... More

Great food, but no reservations. You wait outside in a line until 5:30. It's BYOB, but there is a liquor store around the corner.
