Global cuisine, lots of Asian influence expect Japan. We had oysters, poppers and pork and all was tasty. The place can be difficult to find but its worth finding. Best to share food

The Sable kitchen is excellent. The staff is very helpful and attentive. They will work around special diet situations and try to make you visit the best. Chef CJ is great!

We went to this place because it has good reviews and you can make reservations online, which is a plus. For dinner, we ordered the sishito peppers, the wagyu burgers, the mac&cheese, the frites and the broccoli salad. The sishito peppers are a shame: they are stuffed by a cheap cheddar sauce and breaded. It really feels like you could... More

Our family stayed at this hotel and decided to eat at the restaurant down stairs. What a pleasant surprise. Everything we ordered was amazing. Soft pretzel appetizers. Chicken and waffles and dessert were outstanding. I tasted other family members dishes and it was all top notch food with a lovely presentation.

Everyone raved about Sable, and told us we had to go! The two things that stick out about our experience are 1.) Size of appetizers (and quality) not worth the money and 2.) bartender gave us both drinks with a liquor other than what we requested. Very odd. I've never known a bartender to do that intentionally before....and then he... More

Nice ambience here with some great couch seating. But something went terribly awry with the Moscow Mule I ordered. It was basically pure ginger beer. It was undrinkable. No copper mug either. Now to their credit they took it back no problem and replaced it with a gin and tonic. That was excellent. Maybe it was just bad luck with... More

Gotta say that we do not have much to review. Our concierge from the Gwen suggested Sable. Took a cab in the rain and we were starving late on a Friday night. No tables in the dining room so we found a small table at the bar. After waiting 10 minutes and no service with bartenders right in front of... More

I would love the opportunity to make this up to you. If you can, please reach out to me directly at petros.papatheofanis@sablechicago.com so we can make this... More

I had dinner and drinks at Sable, service was outstanding! I highly recommend trying the Spanish style gin craft cocktails served in bowl glasses, so refreshing and unique. Between my sister and I, we tried 4 gin cocktails and they were all amazing, crisp and not too sweet. We had the ceviche, scallops and beet salad for dinner. All plates... More

During our stay at the Palomar, we did Sable for Breakfast two mornings. The venue is nice, open and vibrant, and the food was surprisingly good, especially for "hotel food." We enjoyed our from the menu offering, and service was very attentive, and efficient. We do many hotel Breakfasts, and these ranked well above the average, even at some luxury... More
