The service, outdoor patio, and vibe were all great. Ridiculous wait time after placing our order. It was good pizza - but no pizza is worth a 1.5 hour wait. We won’t return.

Had a few gluten free pizza options (all thin crust). Came out great! DIdn't taste like usual dry gluten free crust you get at a lot of places. Definitely recommend!

Only had to wait in line for a couple of minutes and arrived without reservation. Got a really great booth by the bar. Service was so fast and good a waiter accidentally brought a beer we already received and gave it to us on the...house. Really cool atmosphere inside and the pizza was KILLER! Great staff! Our favorite in Chicago! Highly recommend!More

I stop by yesterday with my fiancée for the first time. The place has a really nice atmosphere and is very relaxing. The place had only 20 customer so we thought they were going to be fast, but no. We had to wait 45 minutes...for our appetizer. When the pizza finally arrives after an hour and 20 minutes it was all burned and it tasted like cardboard. It was so dry that I couldn’t eat the borders. I don’t recommend this place at all. My fiancée and I feel very ashamed for this place.More

When visiting Chicago, stop for a deep dish pizza. Gino's East is your best bet. The location on North Lincoln Ave. isn't large, but they offer outdoor dining. The deep dish pizza takes about 45 minutes to prepare and bake. Plan ahead. A large pizza...can easily feed five people. It's so thick that you'll need a fork to eat it. The service was adequate. My only complaint was that sweet tea was not brewed; it's served as unsweet tea and a packet of sugar. The quality of the food was excellent. Recommended experience.More

It takes about 40 minutes for the deep dish pizza, but its worth every second you wait for it. Friendly service and a lot of delicious pizza!

Don’t do delivery, not sure if they are still doing it but it was a third party delivery service. It took for ever and the pizza was cold and disgusting. Love the pizza but delivery is a nightmare they just can seem to figure out.

How can you go wrong when you have a server who’s nickname is Jolly!!! He told us it was a nickname he thought would stick for a week and 25 years later.......it’s on his jersey at Gino’s. He was super and helped us through the...menu and made the whole experience better. The place is large and we sat in one of the smaller rooms but there were still 4-5 TV’s in our area with all kinds of sporting events happening. We ordered a thin crust pizza (what?!?!?) and a Chicago style pizza. The reason was the thin takes about 20 min and the Chicago style can take at least double that time so we figured the thin would be our starter pizza. Thin for the CT/NY/NJ crowd is a misnomer as it really isn’t that think. WeIt was tasty though and a very pleasant surprise as our whole crew gobbled it up. The Chicago style was typical and was very filling and tasty with the a little spice to the sauce. Not enough to call “heat” but had great flavor. It was noisy and busy but hey it’s Chicago pizza after all. We all left very full and very happy - or maybe even a bit jolly!More

We went to Gino’s East restaurant for one of the famous Deep Pan Pizza’s and it did not disappoint. Wow one of the best pizzas I have ever had , cooked fresh to order , we shared a big one between four of us which...was plenty. We even saved room for a Brownie and ice cream yum yum . A must go to place for any tourist, I highly recommend this restaurant. Enjoy Plus we got excellent service here !!More
