Went for lunch with my husband following a recommendation from a friend. We shared the lobster sushi, pork belly skewers and duck dumplings. The sushi was the stand-out dish and was devoured. The duck dumplings were not as expected, arriving as dumpling sandwiches with much too much dumpling to duck. Worth going just for the lobster California rolls though (but... More

I was referred to Sunda by the staff at the lobby bar in my hotel. Flying solo, I dropped in and even though it was a very busy Wednesday night, I was given a nice spot at the sushi bar. I played it a bit safe but what I had was exquisite: the tuna stuffed avocado, rainbow roll and sake... More

This is a higher end asian fusion restaurant. I had the crispy brussel sprout salad and the Oxtail potstickers ....so good! I've had lunch and dinner here. The atmosphere great for a dinner date or for a families. Not too loud, not too quiet.

Good blood mary bar with shrimp, bacon, meat and pickled vegetables. Also offers spices and hot sauces to add in. The regular size is not bad if you are sunday marry hopping. Their bloody mary mix stayed flat too overpowering with black pepper. Could have been shaken instead of pouring it on top of ice - anyone can do that.... More

Visited Sunda for a late lunch and had a great experience. We had really good, top-grade sushi, but the appetizers really set the place apart. Also had great cocktails. The menu is very rich, so we'll be back to sample some more.

Sunda was my first ever sushi experience. My husband and I went with another couple. The restaurant is pretty large and very busy for a Sunday night at 7pm. I ordered "the lady and the champ" as a cocktail. It was good, but something I could make at home (not worth the $15) we ordered the edamame and brussel sprout... More

My wife and I enjoyed every bite at Sunda. We each picked a really amazing cocktail from the extensive cocktail menu. I recommend the Manila Mai Tai. It wasn't overly sweet and came in a fun tiki glass. As for the food... You have to order the crispy rice with the tuna and the steak. Amazing sushi rice with delicious... More

We stopped here after we saw John Cleese at the Chicago Theater. The place reminded me of Hiro 88 in Omaha, Nebraska to some extent in terms of the interior. However, the food was completely different. We tried several of their sushi flavors. There are some that include some pretty hot, since they included jalapenos with the sushi. Others were... More

Everything about Sunda is amazing. The food, the atmosphere, the smells.... perfect for city dining. I select Sunda when I'm in the city for the sushi. Tonight, I gambled on the gambler.... and lost. Sweet baby Jesus, not for the faint of heart!
