I enjoy wood fired pizzas but was disappointed in the frisbee like rather flavor less pizza. Both people with me agreed. Clean place and the waitress was fine. Sodas were only $2 and free refills. Can walk from here to Sox game one block away.
If you ever get the chance to grab a bite to eat at Stix I highly recommend you do.
This place is top notch and off the chain!
The pizzas are cooked to perfection and have the most unbelievable taste. All fresh ingredients and flavors...that will set your mouth into a frenzy for more.
There’s nothing on the menu that I wouldn’t order!
I will be coming back for more!
Oh and grab a pastry for dessert!! All hand made from scratch!! The Tiramisu is like Nonna made it herself!!More
I can’t vouch for this being an authentic Chicago pizza experience, but if it was, then it was damn good pizza. I asked my server to recommend a pizza and she suggested the Beef and Hot Giardinia pizza. I’ve never heard of or had Hot...Giardinia, but it was spicy and delicious. The pizza had a nice crisp to it from the wood fire, but it also had a nice chewiness to it. I loved it! I’m not a fan of deep dish pizza, so if that is what you want for your Chicago experience look elsewhere. However if you want a tasty wood-fired pizza, with what I presume to be a “Chicago” topping, then you should try the Beef and Hot Giardinia Pizza.More
Looking for a new place for simple lunch and glad we tried this place. It’s clean and cozy. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The apple salad has good flavors and fresh ingredients. sausage pizza is good too. It’s not drowned in oil so we...can enjoy the tomato sauce and sausage. And I love the crispy thin crust. Latte from Red Line Cafe was good too. Plan to try their sandwiches next time.
We came on Friday afternoon. Sox not playing. So plenty of street parking. Just need to read the signs for parking restrictions carefully.More
I've eaten pizza all over the south side of Chicago and the south suburbs and this was one of the best!
Give them a try for a great nice and crispy wood fired pizza.
Love the wood fire taste, and wish there were other places...like this around.
Very clean inside. Simple clean design in the inside of the building. Plus you could see the oven. Friendly staff too.
Can't say anything bad. If we are in the area we will be back!More
Love this place! Food is great. It’s nice to have a little more elevated dining in the area rather than burgers and fries. Nice craft beers too. Service is great and employees are incredibly nice! The area is long overdue for a place like this....Highly recommend even if just for coffee in their sister location next door, Red Line.More
I found Stix 'n Brix a very good option for a quick lunch or dinner, the service is fast and the quality of the food very good. The wooden fired oven gives an extra touch to the good Italian pizza.
Good option of salads and...sandwiches as well. Thumb up for the espresso and cappuccino!More
Nice New spot near Sox Park. Perfect place for an original individual Italian style pizza and more. Recently added craft beers and wine. Also next door is their sister location (The Red Line Cafe) serving breakfast and more. I haven’t tried that location but if...it’s anything like Stix’n Brix it’ll be enjoyable. Very comfortable spot.More
Super cute local spot serving up delicious wood fired pizza with fresh homemade ingredients! It’s nice to have a fresh, quality, non greasy pizza. It’s also a Fab location 10 min from downtown & across the street from both Sox park & the Redline train 🙌🏼Bonus.. they...serve liquor now!! Cheers 🍻More
