While the menu offers a bit of everything, the emphasis is on the hog. This is the only place I have ever seen a plate offering dry aged hams from Kentucky, Iowa and Spain. The Suckling Pig was tender and delicious. The best dish was the Ham Chop in Hay, as described, it starts with bring in a solution that... More

I love the publican. It truly is a Chicago staple. There are very few places we go that we don't compare to this joint. Their brunch is amazing and their oysters are the freshest anywhere. You can't go wrong.

The Publican is a great spot for Sunday brunch. We had a reservation for 9 am and were seated immediately. Everything that we ordered was fantastic. The maple bacon and the red wine poached eggs were definitely our favorites.

This place was great, everything it was cracked up to be. Do not miss the pork skins, they are not the stale things they sell in corner store. The charcuterie was great, as was the tomato and the beet dish. Highly recommended

Been here several times but first time writing a review...long overdue, as I have always had a great meal when dining here. Had the avocado salad, cuddlefish ink pasta, and the ham large plate. Finished off the meal with a lemon, blueberry, and meringue dessert that was light and delicious! Will be back!

Never thought I would review an airport restaurant but it deserves it. For food at an airport it gets no better. Not light fare mind you but hardy sausage and eggs. The Randolph location is great also but if your just laying over at Ohare you now have a real Chicago place to eat!!!

The food here was absolutely AMAZING!!!! I cannot even describe the the meal we had. It is definitely meant for sharing and the wonderful staff take the time to explain the menu to you, so you know the amount of food you are getting etc... I highly recommend you start with the house pickles for a starter. I am huge... More

I've been to The Publican several times. The food is always fantastic. This is a place to go with at least two of you who like the same things, as all of the dishes are meant to be shared. The freshness and quality of the ingredients is really allowed to shine. On this visit we did a ham tasting, with... More

We grabbed a relatively quick lunch at The Publican Tavern in O'Hare, Terminal 3. There was confusion from the get go, as they couldn't clear tables quick enough to properly seat and serve people. The food was good, small portions, and very pricey. I wasn't very hungry so I had an the wing appetizer. My wife had a salad. You... More
