We stopped in for an appetizer and drinks. Our server was engaging and helpful. After the routine request for our drink order, and our description of the flavors we we favored, he suggested a gin berry drink and a Mezcal old fashioned. New to us...More

We had a wonderful dinner. We were seated in the dining room on the second floor. The space is divided into a few dining spaces so it has a more intimate feel. The brick wall gives a cozy feel but the large windows offer nice...More

We dined here two years ago and had a lovely experience, particularly with our service. Recently we returned and couldn't believe it was the same restaurant. Some things didn't change, like the overpriced, uber-small portion sizes. But the service stood out as lackluster at best....More

We enjoyed the set menu (with some choices) including ceviche, a pineapple Mexican cheese combo, scallops with mushroom, a short ribs and an excellent dessert. Drinks were excellent as was service. I enjoyed the music mix which included Manu Chao and Beirut along with Mexican...More

Leña Brava is a decent choice for a night out on Randolph row but unfortunately one dish trumped my entire evening here. The PINEAPPLE, GOAT CHEESE, SALSA MACHA AGUACHILE was EVERYTHING but everything was a mere shadow in comparison. Come for the salsa but leave...More

Great service and delicious food! We came here on the recommendation of our friends who live in Chicago and we were really happy with everything. The cocktails were especially delicious. Note - this is not a 'tacos' or 'burritos' spot and is more of a...More

I left this restaurant madder than I have been in a long time. Our service, from the moment we sat down until I paid, was awful. It took so long for our waiter to come to our table. After we finally ordered our drinks, appetizers,...More

Our third visit but the first time we were seated on the ground floor where the open kitchen is located. It's a bit louder than upstairs but quite comfortable and cosy on a cold winter's night. We had the Lena ceviche and the Baja cocktel...More
