My wife and I recently visited Oriole on our recent trip to Chicago. We had had the good fortune of attending an event in Richmond, VA, where Chef Sandoval and some local chefs had created an outstanding tasting menu. It made us excited to come...More

Ever seen one of those movies that was critically acclaimed and hailed by critics, but you and your friends walk out saying “Ya, I don’t get it”? Well that’s Oriole, except imagine paying $200 a person for the movie. The analogy continues because Oriole is...More

This is the best dinning experience in Chicago. The ambiance, service and the tasting menu and wine pairing are without peer.

This is definitely up there as one of my top dining experiences. The restaurant was in constant contact with me to tweak the menu for some food allergies. I also texted them that we would be slightly late and they were very accommodating. Upon arriving...More

Excellent service and attentive, fun and interesting staff. Not stuffy as other fine dining restaurants can be, but elegant and well executed. Great food. Excellent and traditionally paired wines. This restaurant merits its critical acclaim and then some.

No. The restaurant is like a speakeasy in a small street. You can walk by and not know it's there.
