This is a great place to grab authentic Neapolitan style pizza. They have traditional, American fusion, and speciality pizzas, so you will likely find something you are interested in. A definite return visit is in order.

Loved it. Came here with my family as the doors opened on a Wednesday afternoon. Staff was welcoming, attentive, friendly, and responsive to questions. Great wine and beer selections, wine all Italian. No domestic beers- European and microbrew. Hubby had a Riggs Hefe and was...very happy:) I had the house red, very good. Order- one ceasar salad, which my husband and I easily split. It was fresh, oil based dressing with fresh parm and croutons. 3 pizzas; Diavola, fresh mozzarella with a little bite from salami and peppers. So good. Pepperoni- trust me, not your mothers Sunday night, homemade, cookie sheet pepperoni pizza. Fresh mozzarella + freashly scliced, totally yummy pepperoni. Mushroom and sausage…but super fancy! Again, not to disappoint, mildly spicey sausage and crimini mushrooms. Looked like great selection of gelato, but we passed this time. Atmosphere is very Italian ❤️. And clean. Open concept, modern rustic design, kitchen is exposed with two massive ovens.More
First time visit. Had cheese board, salad, and 2 pizzas. All was excellent. Service was fast as well. Inside restaurant had exposed brick and it had a good vibe . Would definitely go again.
Order and paid via their website, called when my pizza was 30 minutes late and was told it was sitting there but doordash, which was arranged, again on their website, hadn't shown up yet. Then I was told they had better hurry up as they...were about to close. I requested they call doordash, as I ordered and paid for everything on their website. I was told that was my problem. Cold pizza showed up after 90 minutes, which I ordered at 7pm on a Wednesday night and all they did was point fingers. Don't use them. Lots of pizza options that take responsibility and get the simple pizza business job done.More
We had a large group meeting at Pizzeria Antica. Service was excellent. The pizzas are authentic and reminded me of the pizzas I ate in Tuscany. The price is right as we spent about $20 per person for alcohol, appetizers, salads, and pizza. During our...visit the acoustics were good such that we could hear everyone up and down our large table.More
I don't remember a time I had a better pizza. And salad. And there was something different and delicious about their iced tea. This place was terrific, and I'm glad we ended up here. This isn't fast food, but the food came quickly!
We love this place! The pizza is delicious- very authentic! Staff is wonderful. Highly recommend this place!
Visited for the first time. Decided on the Bianca pizza. Although we have never been to Italy, we imagine that this is exactly what authentic Italian pizza is like. Can't wait to go back and try all the different pizzas.
Excellent pizza, the only one I've had in town that reminds me of the ones I've had in Italy. Excellent crust and good ingredients. There are convenient, individual pizzas, with a lot of choices for toppings. Buying an individual pizza is more expensive than getting...a slice or two, but the price is fair. You can call ahead and order a pizza for takeout, or sit in the pizzeria and eat it there. The decor is simple but clean. This is not a romantic place. The staff is sometimes a bit overwhelmed, so be prepared to wait when it gets crowded.More
We went this last weekend, food was excellent. The pizza was fresh and not your typical pie. We had the diovola pizza and a house salad. Highly recommend this place!
Really liked this place and I'm pretty tough on pizza reviews. But they have a very fresh, simple approach cooked in very high heat ovens that makes for outstanding pizza. We scored seats overlooking the kitchen and ovens so could see the all the fun!...Service was outstanding as well and prices great. Add some cold beer and it was a perfect dinner.More
Great dough and interesting and fresh ingredients. This pizza does not taste like your typical American pizza and that's a wonderful thing! Casual and low-key restaurants where pizza's come quickly. Salads are very tasty as well. The gelato is wonderful too!
Good food , nothing exotic, salad was not to my taste, but I noticed the grand kids were wolfing it down. The adults and the near adults enjoyed the single bottle of red wine that was ordered. I was to drive so I refrained from...participating. The atmosphere was family friendly so I noticed families and groups of friends coming for the casual pizza. A single order of pizza would have satisfied a couple and yet the ambience of the place felt good. Service was excellent.More
We attempted to visit Black Dog (Downtown) but was not willing to wait 90 minutes for a table (granted it was a Saturday night). We walked instead to Pizzeria Antica. Their website indicates they were founded in 2015. It shows. Our hostess was new -...who then was our server, then not. It's a funky payment process - as you pay for your meal at the hostess stand. We started with a shared Italiano (large) salad ($10). Then the pizza came - Melanzana - described as Fresh Mozzarella, Roasted Eggplant, Sun Kissed Tomato, Chevre ($16). Both items were very tasty. Last - we had the gelato - very reasonable @ $3 for about a 4 oz. portion. Overall - a pleasant experience - but on the pricey side.More
With all the cheap pizza placed on campus, this place stands out in downtown Champaign for its authentic Italian pizza made with great ingredients and in a fine dining atmosphere. We went here to celebrate a birthday and they were nice enough to give us...a big table for a dozen or so people. The place is very clean, with fun toys around while you wait for your food. The staff is polite and helpful, and will recommend stuff if you're not sure what the ingredients are exactly.More
