This place is great! Really fair prices on very fancy cheese; we got Dubliners cheese, smoked gouda, and some brie. The lady who helped us was very kind, and very helpful. We also got the lemon and chocolate macarons. The lemon was amazing! The best...macaron I have ever had!More

Don't let the name fool you. Get on Cheese & Crackers' mailing list for the almost daily offerings of fish fresh off the boat - air delivered to Chicago and fast shuttled to Champaign. Sashimi grade seafood to please any palate. $$$ but worth it....Of course you can buy cheese and crackers.....and wine and chocolate and many other culinary delights. Go for the seafood.More

I stumbled in here, as I heard great things about their sandwiches. They are great and I highly recommend them, especially, the Italian and beef sandwiches. Now, what blows me away is their fresh order fish/seafood selection. Had no idea a place like this existed...in CU. They get everything fresh from Fortune Fish Company, for those who have ever lived in Chicago, you'll know this supplier. Restaurant-quality fresh, you can get basically anything and in sushi-grade format. Hands-down, the best dry packed scallops that I have purchased from a store. Better than any store that I frequented while living in Chicago for 14 years.More

I go to this place at least once a month because they have a fantastic variety of cheeses and meats. They have truly unique cheeses from all over the world, and their meats range from local to international and luxurious. Everyone who works there is...incredibly helpful and friendly. They have a lot of knick-knacks, including specialty sodas, around the shop. They always have free samples to try, and I haven't tried anything from there I haven't liked. Their sandwiches are also fantastic and made with a local bakery's bread and the ingredients in the store. As a vegetarian, it's my favorite veggie sandwich. Strongly reccomend this place!More

The cheese is great. Have also had a piece of artisan candy that was pretty good. Nice place to walk to and close by to Panera Bread Company.

My husband and I were glad we tried the 'Yelp Special" , the deli Italian. It was amazing, very fresh and the sauce very flavorful- not just oil and vinegar. We will be going back to try all,the sanwiches while picking up our specialty cheeses....Thanks Bart for your help!More

I have never eaten a meal here, but visit often to find specific cured meats and cheeses I can't find anywhere else in the area, especially when I want to try a new recipe. The owner(s) are very knowledgeable about the products.

My husband and I enjoyed looking around this teeny little shop, but we loved the sandwich. We had Mindy's Italian and it was so good. They were out of the listed Salami and substituted an even better choice. The bread was good, the chips were...good and it was all so rich in flavor and texture. The spinach crab dip made a nice appetizer and there are plenty of crackers to choose from. This is a little cafe, not a sit down restaurant. But the delicious choices more than made up for the absence of ambience. We really enjoyed this experience, and left with plenty of cheese, dip and olives until next time.More
