I have been eating at IVs for many years and think they have a pretty good menu. The place is unique in and of itself but their salad bar and lasagna really stick out to me. Their pizza is pretty good too but I think that their beer selection is lacking. You'll order up front then come back and get... More

I have lived in the area 4 yrs and have finally tried Italian Village. The décor is very very dated but quirky. The menu is confusing and terrible. The menu is also very limited. I got the Lasagna and it was great but I waited over 30 min for it. I got one trip to the salad bar with a... More

This place has been in Carbondale forever. I've the years, the quality has gone down I think, but it's still a decent pizza. They have a pretty cool little outdoor area with semi private type seating. We had a table outside. There was a fan over our table which was nice, but the highlight was the plug in receptacle at... Pizza was great, Italian beef was grossly under seasoned. Unlimited fountain soda was a plus!!!! Cool to write on the walls, bring a pen..

As far as I am concerned the only reason to come here is for pizza and salad bar. The French dressing on the salad bar is unlike any French dressing anywhere. The pizza is greasy but quite tasty. Childhood memories are reinforced with each trip. Haven't been here for 2-3 years. It always tastes the same. If you didn't eat... More

So the only reason to go was for the self-serve make your own ice cream cone. But the ice cream machine that you could self serve has broke and been removed permanently. This is where we came as kids and I bring my nieces and nephews and my little so they can have the joy of making their own ice... More

A unique experience. We always bring out of town guests here to see the writing on the walls from years gone by and to enjoy the fabulous pizza and salad bar. They have added a new section where you can eat outside if you wish.

This is a nice informal place to bring families. It is counter service with plenty of table seating. They also have a nice salad bar. My daughter liked the video games and the 50 cent self serve ice cream cones. Our pizza was very good, and the bill wasn't outrageous. We would return!

I have been eating here since I was a teenager (over 40 years). The food has remained the same which is very good..I really love the salad bar, really fresh.
