We dined as a couple and were incredibly impressed. A relaxed fine dining experience setting overlooking the gardens. We started with drinks in the bar from the excellent drinks selection and were ably assisted in our choices by the very good bar staff. The staff were friendly and attending e throughout and the restaurant lived up to its reputation throughout.... More

From emailing to book a table to driving down the drive to the hotel everything was incredible. A beautiful location, amazing staff who were so helpful and friendly. The food was out of this world. We ate so many delicious things and had a great time trying each other's dishes. The staff wrote congratulations on our marriage on our petit... More

We dined here for our 1st wedding anniversary in July. When we arrived we had drinks and canapés which we could have in one of the lounges or garden. The house is grand and the staff attentive. My parents had called the hotel and arranged for us to have a celabratory drink from them! They did however fail to say... More

Oh dear me, we have tried this hotel twice for lunch both on special occasions and twice been seriously dissapointed. The menu had two pricings onin tbe 25 pds andone 50 pds and frankly could not differentiate between the two so felt really ripped off when I had the expensive menu and my wife had the cheaper menu. Sorry but... More

What a beautiful place! Had a fabulous experience on my 40th birthday and was spoilt with the skilled dishes that we were served. Our only criticism would be that we needed a side dish with our main meal of vegetables or potatoes for the hungrier guests. Other than that it was lovely. Would return for the lunch menu as it... Having decided to go for afternoon tea we searched the web for suitable places. I remembered this place being recommended to me so we called and got booked in by a very polite receptionist. We were greeted as we walked through the doors and were shown to our reserved seating. There was a choice of tea and we both opted... More

I took my wife here for lunch to celebrate two years since moving here from Buckinghamshire. We settled for the four course Springtime Lunch menu which was priced at £34 and included canapés and a glass of Prosecco. Every dish was delicious and served by friendly and attentive staff - thank you Rose & Michael. The cuisine was certainly Michelin star... More

Visited The Grove for their special Sunday lunch with tour of the gardens - a lovely prelude to a stunning meal. The venue is so special - everything is done to perfection, from service (really friendly, never stuffy) to presentation to taste. A stunning venue and food for special occasion, or just for spoiling yourself!

No booking but warmly welcomed. Stupendous tea, plentiful and great quality. Passionfruit puff-thing was out of this world. Warm moist scones. Proper carrot cake. Good choice of tea but went traditional and not disappointed. Only fault was sugar arriving 5 minutes after the tea and milk. Have decided to give up sugar. Will be happy to return.
