Delicious breakfast food

The menue selection of breakfast food is enormous! I ordered the California omlet (large portion) that came with hashbrowns and pancakes or toast. It was delicious! Service was great (Jackie) and the crowd was pleasantly diverse. I will definitely return for repeat business and for the delicious food.

I stopped here for lunch while driving through town on vacation. It's a pretty big restaurant, seems popular with locals judging by the full parking lot at 11 am on a Wednesday. I was greeted immediately and led to a table by the windows. The menu has all kinds of breakfast (served all day) and lunch standards. I was drawn to the crepes and selected the Chunky Monkey Crepes, which were amazing! These crepes are filled with peanut butter and have sliced banana with whipped cream and chocolate drizzle on top. Okay, more like an ice cream sundae! They were really delicious.

It’s also open for lunch but it’s very popular for breakfast. Good food, excellent service, busy but comfortable dining room. Be careful, parking lot and access street are full of potholes.

Eggs Benedict was fantastic! The crepes and pancakes looked fantastic. The chicken salad was room temp and tasted bad. They quickly replaced with a different sandwich.

Practically Perfect in Every Way

Daughter and I stopped for brunch as we were driving through the Bradley area. This location was highly recommended for breakfast/brunch, so we thought we'd give it a try. Having dined there, I can see why it gets such glowing reviews. Our waitress, Amanda, was absolutlely delightful. She was welcoming, friendly, and very helpful with taking our orders and ensuring that we got what we wanting to eat. My daugher enjoyed their pancakes with a side of fresh fruit. I tried their "Taste-O-Rama" option, which came with eggs, bacon, sausage, and pancakes. The eggs were some of the best cooked ones that I've received at a restaurant in years. The bacon was likewise cooked to near perfection; being crisp and firm without being over done and dry. The sausages had a delicious flavor to them. The pancakes were light and fluffy without being too airy and tasteless. Portions were significant in size, and neither my daugther nor I walked away hungry. Prices were very reasonable as well. Considering how much food we received and the high quality of everything, I was amazed that the bill wasn't higher.

Outstanding Food and Service

We had just arrived from Orlando and came here for lunch. We ended up getting skillets that were just outstanding. It was great service, great food, great experience.

Yes, and Again I Say Yes!

Yes, yes, yes! Get in here! My wife raved about this place; she had been before, but it was my first time. Her claim was that they had the best hollandaise sauce in the world, and I have to agree that her claim was accurate. Everything here is great; I don't think you could make a bad choice. But that hollandaise, oh yeah. It's perfectly lemony. Our party of six all ordered different things, so we all got to try various dishes, and they were all winners. I strongly recommend the eggs benedict for your first visit. I'm betting you'll get hooked! Portions were quite generous; I planned on taking leftovers for later, but I ate all my meal. I should have taken leftovers; I was hurting a little. But it hurt so good. If I lived in the area, this would be my regular go-to breakfast place, no doubt.

I am sitting at the counter, waiting for my food, and I am already a fan! The food coming out of the kitchen is plentiful and beautifully presented - a wide range of breakfast foods, so that I am wishing that I were four people, and could try more of them. This restaurant was highly recommended by several local people, and I am not disappointed. I was seated quickly (choice of table, booth or counter), served water and coffee immediately, and given a food recommendation by the waitress. So I ordered the Countryside skillet. A young man beside me says that he comes in once or twice a week for the Grecian skillet (they said, “your usual?” and he nodded shyly). My food is here! The flavor of the meat and potatoes part is excellent, with plenty of room to add seasoning if you like things over salted. The over-easy eggs are closer to over-medium, and the gravy is why I never thought I liked that Southern staple, but the waitress told me how she makes it at home, and I’m pretty sure that I *would like that. The pancakes were light and fluffy, served with real butter and the kind of syrup restaurants use (but they had blackberry jam, so I was good). I would recommend the food, with the caveat that orders should be very specific. The counter seems to be reserved for local regulars - everyone knows them AND their orders. Another man seated at the counter ordered the Butcher Shop omelette, but said that his favorite is the Hey, Ricky. The waitress, Amanda, immediately racked off the ingredients. I am coming back.

Best breakfast!

Excellent service and food! Portions are HUGE. Recommend splitting it. We ordered pancakes, biscuits and gravy, and crepes. Everything was delicious! Beth our waitress was super helpful with recommendations and provided impeccable service. Wish we were in town for a longer period of time so we could try everything!

Awesome Breakfast!

I have been eating breakfast here every other Sunday for several years now and it never disappoints. Everything I have ordered has been very delicious! Most of the waitress's are very friendly and do their job well. I always recommend Yolks and Berries for breakfast.

Excellent Breakfast

We travel thru yearly for a trip but was the first time we came here. We will be back!!!! Excellet breakfast. I had the french toast. It was yummy. We will definitely be back again next year. Service was execellent as well.

Amazing breakfast and friendly staff

I live in Colorado but work in the Kankakee area and eat here on the weekends. I love family run breakfast cafes and Yolks and Berries didn't disappoint. The menu offers a very broad variety of breakfast dishes, I love the dishes with fresh berries. The staff is always very helpful and friendly. If there is any downside its the popularity of the place, there is always a line on the weekend so if you come with a large party expect to wait for seating. So far I've been lucky in finding a place at the counter.

Great breakfast

We went here because my husband wanted grits. Their menu is loaded with options. Food was very good and arrived quickly. Definitely our new go to for breakfast!
