Steak lovers will love this place. Ask for Chas to serve you. He will walk you through their superb menu and help you personalize your meal. We ordered Ribeye. Wow!! Greatest tasting steak we've had since Ruth's Chris in Memphis or Del Frisco's in Dallas Equal to, if not better. Beautifully seasoned, cooked perfectly, mouth watering. Absolutely great salad &... Had dinner at Jims Steakhouse for the first time. Had to make a run to Bloomington and wanted a nice dinner. Had some wine with our meal..I had a ribeye cooked perfectly and tasted great! No additives or lots of seasoning. Asparagus with a Bearnaise sauce, (tasted like maybe a bit of cinnamon in the sauce), was really good. Cooked... More

If your are looking for a yummy steak then Jim's is for you! They have good specials, great steaks and prime rib! The bar area has a piano and live music. The pricing is good and the atmosphere is relaxing. The wait staff is attentive and friendly. It is in need of updating! But really is a fun place to... More

Great spot for lunch. Always great food! Best price lunch in town. The Maurice salad with Brittany dressing is always a great choice.

Had one of the best steaks with great service and a relaxed atmosphere. Be prepared encounter many stairs after entering the building. Older style building but a definite stop while in the Bloomington area.

The best steakhouse in Bloomington/Normal. An old fashion bar with lots of character specially when Chuck and Bob are playing their live music. Eating at the bar is always special when Lindsey is in charge. Kyle is a great chef always prepares the food to the liking of his guests. They also offer amazing burgers during lunch hours prepared daily... More

Jim's has great steaks & seafood. Service was great. Interior could use some updating as it looks like its from another era. I was partial to the sea bass while my associates enjoyed their steaks.

Great place for excellent steaks and seafood. Known for their Brittany salad dressing named after the previous restaurant's moniker. Building dates back to the late 1960's and it has not changed much at all. Interior and exterior is badly in need of a make over. Restrooms are atrocious. If you are willing to forgo the look and feel of the... More

I've eaten at Jim's many times since my parents relocated to Bloomington. Best steaks in town - go with the bone-in ribeye. They also have a tasty burger and soups.

Thank Jake M
