I work right down the street from Novi's Beef and any time I get the taste for a beef sandwich that's were I head off to. Their beefs have this kinda red sauce that i have only seen there. I always get it with motzeralla cheese and hot gardinare. Their fries are also a step above most fast food places. I highly recommend Novi's.

I went to Novi’s Beef on Oak Park & Ogden in Berwyn for a surprise lunch for the family. Everything I ordered from the three Italian beef dipped with gardinar was delicious. I also order a gryros with all the fixings and it do was great. The service was efficient. the deliver of the food was prompt & timely. I give Novi’s 5 stars because of the service and quality of the food!
Excellent place to visit for a quick lunch or even dinner!

The title says everything. I live 75 miles away in Kankakee and I come here 4 or 5 times a year and buy 4 pounds at a time. You can buy it in vacuum sealed bags to freeze to use later. All there food is great but the beef is out of this world. Only bad thing is there is only 1 of there restaurants.

Beef was great as always. Bought 4 lbs. cold. Also bought 2 loafs of bread the was very dry like it must have been from over the weekend that they still had. Been going there for35 years but won't anymore. I hate paying for something that is old. Can't go back as I live 60 miles away.

this place is the worst ever i odered 4 pizza puffs from them with uber the food came and the pizza puffs were bad thay had no cheese in them at all it was the worst pizza puff i ever had so i called to tell them and thay yelled at me and said thay are pre maid thay never looked in them to see if thay have cheese he makes all mexicans look evil!!!!!!!!!!! ps never said sorry or gave a refund .people stay away from this place the stink !

a Greek restaurant that serves a damn good Italian beef. good fries, too. i wish the spanakopita (spinach pie) was available on the regular menu (catering only). but the fries and milkshakes are also very good.

In Chicago we take Italian beef for granted. If Novi's were anywhere outside of Chicago it would be astronomical, here it is just good. Nice people, and the sandwiches are what you would expect. If you are hungry an Ok place to eat.

I've been going here for over 20 years when I visit family in Berwyn. Love this place. Generally get an Italian Beef (wet) and a Chicago hot dog. Friendly staff.

If you are ever in Berwyn , Novi's have one the best Beef Sandwiches that I've ever had! They are served hot or sweet and they are delicious! If you are having a party grab a pound of beef that comes with the bread and peppers for 16 bucks

Correct me if I am wrong. But the beef should not have an iridescent tone to it. Took a couple of bites and threw it out. I have never been more upset about any meal as I have with this.

Italian beef is one of the foods Chicago is known for. There are hundreds of places that sell their own version of Italian beef, including the big dog, Portillo's. And while Portillo's beef is good, as are many of the others, nothing tops Novi's. Start with the beef, itself - tender, thin sliced, no fat or gristle, just fine meat. Then the seasoning and au jus - perfect balance of spiciness and flavor adds a dimension not found in any other beef I've tried. Add in the gardinare - really spicy with plent of heat to really fire everything up. All on great bread...put it all together, add some nice sweet peppers, if you like, and let the juice run down your arms. If you live in the area or are coming for a visit, head over to Ogden Avenue in Berwyn (Berwyn???) and taste the best. So good we take it to family on trips!

Stopped by Novi's after seeing them on Chicago's Best. Awesome beef! Great service and plenty of parking. Oh, by the way, you better be hungry. Portions are huge!!! Novi's is most definitely worth stopping by if you find yourself in the Berwyn area.

Very strong recommendation for Novi's Beef. Excellent food great value. My family party was catered by Novi's Beef yesterday. Hands down, their beef sandwich is the best in Chicago. My guests were raving about the delicious taste of the beef sandwiches as well as the giardiniera and Greek chicken too! Novi's Beef makes its food in-house from scratch. I also found out their food is in such great demand that they deliver as far away as Kankakee, Il. Whether nearby to stop in for a bite, or order catering by phone or Internet, Novi's Beef is the place to visit.

Best beef sandwich I have ever had!!! I had it dipped & added sweet peppers. Would recommend it to everyone! Fries are great too!
