There are several East China Inns in the far western suburbs and I frequent the one in downtown Batavia. The food is very good and the lunch special of my choice includes hot & sour soup, pork Sezuan and it also comes with an egg roll.

Always prompt and hot when delivered. Love the fried rice. Generous portion sizes and reasonable prices. Pleasant to deal with.

Fast service and best Chinese in the tri-city area (Batavia, Geneva and St. Charles) They make there egg rolls in the restaurant and they are very tasty (and yes fatty I'm sure). Lunch specials are about $6 and include soup, fried rice and egg roll. Very hearty portion - we always have some to take home Fresh ingredients as we've... More

I've only ordered take-out but have ordered it many times! The egg drop soup is wonderful, without being greasy. The beef and broccoli is excellent as is the chicken with vegetables. The chicken fried rice is also exceptional. All servings are large and warm. You'll enjoy eating in too, as many of our friends do!

The lunch menu features entrees with steamed rice and soup or fried rice, egg roll and soup. They are very agreeable to any request you have. There are two locations in Batavia and both are great.

There are so many wonderful lunch options, you cannot choose! you can have lunch there for a month, and not repeat anything. I suggest their many soups- including my favorite- won ton, any main course including my favorites, chicken cashew, shrimp with pea pods and water chestnuts, chicken almond ding, and beef with broccoli. Oh, and my new find- honey... More

We have been going to this diamond in the rough for quite some time and as I've seen lately less customers in the restaurant I decided to write a review. I'm surprised that customers would not be lined up to East China Inn and instead they would go to a chain Chinese restaurant like with frozen food that is one... More

I stop by here regularly while biking on the Fox River Trail. The owners and servers all Chinese. Very dependable good food. I recommend this place.

I love the Vegetable Delight and General Tso's Chicken. Can't say it's the friendliest place in the world, but welcoming enough. Just good Chinese food and reasonable prices.

I ordered a carry-out. I have ordered before but 1st time to reply about the nice people. I ordered a smoothie--what a refreshing way to cool a HOT day. These smoothies are made with fresh fruit-not a compote-almond milk and ice cubes. That's it-it is so fresh-tasting and so refreshing. I bought a cantaloupe one last week and a honey... More
