Read the great reviews and checked the hours of operation on the website before walking there in over 100 degree heat. We arrived an hour before closing only to be informed they were no longer seating and probably wouldn’t be for the duration of the...evening because their kitchen was so backed up.More

Love eating at the City Limits whenever we camp at the Wallace RV Park which is several times a year. Never been disappointed in the food, in fact it’s always been excellent! The service has always been very friendly and welcoming!

Staff is pleasant, interesting interior, bar food tasty and plenty to eat. I had the fish tacos, which were huge, average in terms of taste, but more than I could eat. This is a brewery with a half-dozen or so selections of their beer on...tap.More

Mark is the owner and his team are like family. I have no idea how they have the portions they serve at the prices they offer (don't tell them though....ha). They are my go to stop for a HUGE caesar salad or bowl of soup...(and of course with their made on site beer). YUMMore

Choices are very limited in this small town. This was the only place that was popular on the weekenight we ate there. Long wait for a table for 2. Slow service. Average quality of food.

This place has a decent menu and reasonable prices. We ate here twice, once on our own and once with our biking group. Get there early or you will wait to be seated. It does not have sound absorbing decor making it hard to carry...on a conversation.More

Good beer, it's a brew pub. My Black and Bleu burger was not good. The patty was small -- maybe they ran out of hamburger. It was also over cooked and dry. For $11 should be a decent burger. Can't recommend the burgers. Go for...a beer and eat somewhere else.More

We went here to order food to go. Saw two customers leaving with bagged food just before we arrived. We were masked because of Delta surge and one in our party is immunocompromised. The front staff took one look at us and counted out nine...tables waiting and said kitchen couldn’t handle any more orders. No one was waiting to be seated. We left and I called from outside and was told they could take our order! We felt discriminated against. Needless to say, we did not order to go over the phone because of this.More

As one of the owners of the business I apologize for your experience with us! We have no prejudice against people wearing masks, nor do we allow our staff to discriminate for any reason. We do not have room in the door way for people...More

I made it here for my last night in Wallace and had their ribeye steak, sweet potato fries, and a cesar salad - all the food was very good, steak was decently (and huge), the sweet potato fries were very good - just the right...amount of crispness (hate soggy/mush s.p. fries). And their on-tap beers, I tried a few since I had walked from my motel, were great - started with a porter, then amber, then IPA. They were one of the few restaurants open at 6pm....though we had tried to go here for lunch one day and they were closed - very hit or miss opening like so much of Wallace.More

They were very busy but they gave us a buzzer. It worked all the way to the middle of town so we didn't have to just stand around. The food was pretty good. My Pork loin was a bit overcooked, but the kale salad was...delicious. Everyone seemed to like their options. However, it is really overpriced but I'm sure it's because Wallace is a big tourist town.More

We visited Wallace on a Tuesday when many of the businesses were closed so we were happy to find City Limits Brew Pub open as the TA reviews were decent. I had the Strawberry Spinach Salad which was good. It was only served with 1...little dressing and it took a while to get a 2nd bit of dressing. I waited patiently with a plate of dry spinach in front of me. My husband ordered the Philly Cheese Steak with Onion Rings and a side Salad. Oddly, the salad was not served first. It came out with the Onion Rings. The Philly eventually followed and he said it tasted like pork? The menu description is brisket but we are still not sure. It was not your typical Philly cooked on a flat top. It was just a very soft and cheesy mess which he had to try and eat with a fork. Our server, Dana, explained that she was very new. She needed more training but we don’t judge that situation because every business is short handed these days. I can’t speak to any beverage options as we were never offered any. I kid you not and this is a brew pub. Another couple was seated near by and never got anything but menus and water, even though the hostess was made aware. Other tables were filled and served but this couple felt invisible. Luckily, they were great sports and laughed and left after about 30 minutes. If you eat here, take your patience, (a beverage!) and make your food selections carefully.More

It was a nice atmosphere, clean bathrooms and nice staff. We were disappointed they were out of brisket and ended up getting burgers and fries. Which were great!

Hate giving anyone this bad of a review but the hostess was incredibly rude. It’s a tourist restaurant in a tourist town. We were prepared to happily wait crazy times particularly if we can enjoy a cocktail while waiting. And all we really wanted was...take out. We were unpleasantly advised there was no possible way to accommodate us. No smile, no greeting, no apology, no suggestion to try tomorrow… I 100% understand feeling overwhelmed but if you are in the business of customer service learn how to deliver bad news and offer alternative options.More

Maybe this place is as good some of the reviews say,; I’ll never no. We arrived at the restaurant around 7:00 PM only to be told by the hostess that they weren’t accepting anymore customers for the evening. When we asked if we could sit...at the bar and have a drink, the answers was still no. The hostess was unfriendly, rude and apologetic, offering no reason for being unable to accommodate us. Has she just offered some explanation, been appreciative that we stopped by and suggested we make reservations in the future, we may have stopped by the next night. Go to Blackboard down the street. - friendly, accommodating and great food!More
