We arrived 3 minutes before closing and this place was hopping! They took my order for huckleberry milkshakes anyway. It took awhile, but well worth the wait. The lady who made them told us she takes pride in making the best milkshakes. So delicious! We sat on a bench in the shade and loved every slurp. We watched many more customers go in and order, even though the closed sign was up. They finally started turning people away but they never locked the door. Lucky us!

We stopped in Wallace to try a bbq truck & it was closed. The Red Light Garage pulled us in with its interesting storefront & flying saucer in the parking lot. The interior is quirky, colorful & fun. Barb, the friendly owner, pulled up a chair to our table and took our order. We ordered burgers and they came with chips. The food came quickly and tasted fresh and good. We enjoyed our lunch here & remember the place fondly.

I was a little worried about stopping here as some recent reviews weren’t great but I’m glad we did. The food was fantastic and the inside of the building was interesting.
We did have a little trouble paying as the waitress struggled to split our bill and add up the taxes. I finally offered to do it for her.
Would have liked to have seen the staff wearing masks. I was surprised that none of them were, as I had seen signs all over town saying they were required in all public places.

We had chicken tenders, nachos, and 1 milkshake and our total was $36. The nachos alone were $16 and it was tiny with stale chips. Overall the wait staff appeared to be inconvenienced by us being there. Maybe it was a fluke caused by covid aftermath...

Had burgers for lunch here, it was one of the few things open at the time. Seemed like a pretty small menu, mostly of a few burger types (I had the jalapeno burger, it was decent but nothing to rave about). Inside seems more dedicated how much stuff they can put on the walls than what food they serve. I tried going back here a few times during my stay but they were never open past the first day at any time I tried.

Really fun atmosphere inside and out.
I would not recommend eating there tho. Service was terrible, food was all undercooked, bland, an just not very good. Coffee was nasty, tasted like reused grounds with some added.

Interesting place to get a bite to eat. Not a lot of seats so it can get busy but is worth a stop. Very interesting inside and cool history.

A fun atmosphere with lots of memorabilia, friendly staff, and good cafe food. We had a hearty breakfast there this time through Wallace and had a good lunch at the Red Light Garage when coming through the area in the past.

The most friendly awesome place in Wallace Idaho. Barb and Jamie the owners were absolutely wonderful. Chole was attentive, caring and just made you feel at home. BEST PLACE EVER!!!

Ordered a taco salad. Cost $14 for a salad the size of a cereal bowl. Had a grand total of 7 nacho chips in salad and maybe 2 tablespoons of ground beef.
