Had lunch Tuesday 11 Aug. Although the footprint of the pub is small they have put in place clever changes in line with Social Distancing rules. We both had the set menu which was £10 pp thanks to Dishy Rishi! Mushrooms on toast was splendid....Cod in a beautiful bowl on a bed of mixed beans, tomatoes, herbs, etc. Flavour was excellent. We followed up with Affogato and it was the nicest one I have ever had. Bottle of Picpoul de Pinet and excellent service. All in all a lovely lunch.More

We have eaten here many times over the years and have to say it is at its absolut e peak. The food is consistently excellent - a smallish menu compared to many pubs but well worth it for the quality. Good size portions with tasty...food and excellent service. In the winter it is cosy with log fires and in the summer it's great to sit and watch the world go by. There are plenty of locals yet they still welcome everyone - walkers, cyclists etc. I can highly recommend the sirloin steak and fish and chips.More

Great Sunday roast accompanied with smooth Guinness and a really nice Malbec. Fresh and tasty ingredients and a friendly and welcoming team. One the best pubs in the area. Great to have them back.

Had a Takeaway Sunday Roast Beef last weekend to break the monotomy of lockdown. It was wonderful, with the added bonus of no preparation and washing up. Will certainly be having another one

Just ordered dinner for all the family from the Greyhound’s takeaway menu. Easy to order over the phone and collect. Food was still hot and my burger was huge and juicy! Very good value. Will order again and hopefully be able to eat in before...long too.More

We visited today for lunch with our 3 boys and some friends with children. Very friendly and welcoming pub, we all had a muddy boots on after a walk in the woods and also had a dog with us but the staff were still very...happy to have us. Had lunch in the bar area, my husband and I had the Thai mussels and everyone else had burgers - all the food looked and tasted fabulous and was very reasonably priced. Would definitely return if we are in the area.More

This is the second Fullers pub that our monthly running & walking group has visited for lunch in the last few months, and once again we were very well looked after: a nice choice of beers, tasty food (pre-ordered from a varied menu) brought out...promptly, and good service overall. My only comments are that my roast chicken sandwich could have done with slightly less mayo for my taste; and is London Pride paler than it used to be?! Anyway, Fullers are clearly doing things right in their well-run country dining pubs.More

We stopped off for lunch on our way from Oxford. Excellent blade of beef, meltingly soft and tasty served with green beans mash and gravy for me and tasty local sausages ( from Cholsey) and mash for my wife. We both drank London Pride, this...being a Fullers pub. Service was efficient and friendly. We shall return.More

Had a 12.30 booking slot for Christmas Day meal and had to pre-order our 3 course meal. The food was excellent, but long waiting time - 35 minutes for the starter, 40 mins for main meal, 25 minutes for desert and we decided not to...wait for the coffee and mints. It appeared the kitchen served out the food at the same time, irrelevant of the table booking time...More
