We had thanks Giving dinner here. The place was decked out for the holidays, the staff neatly attired, and ready to serve. We enjoyed a fine Pinot Noir, and a Pinot Gris. My wife salmon was excellent , as was her green salad. My clam chowder was served with calms in the shell, potatoes, root vegetable , and a sauce... More

We ate at the Ram during the Jazz Festival. We had lunch and dinner there. Oh my was fabulous food!! Lunch we had Sausage with sautéed tomatoes, peppers, and onions on a bun with French Fries. Dinner we had meat loaf, mashed potatoes and carrots. The meal was out of this world. It was so good I can't stop thinking... More

Beautiful evening, we ate outside with a view of the Sun Valley Resort grounds which are more than abundant with beautiful flowers.

I was in The Ram several times during a meeting at the Inn before it opened at four as the nicest place available to sit and chat. I also visited it after four a couple of times, again for chatting, but with drinks well prepared and well served. Given the knowledge that it doesn't open until four p.m., it is... More

The young man handling the reservations really turned us off from the beginning. We arrived on time for our reservation to find the place completely empty. He seated us adjacent to a wait station. (My chair was literally underneath a tray jack loaded with pitchers of water making it impossible to be seated.) we requested a different table and he... More

The Ram Lounge is such a beautiful setting to gather after dinner! We came at a time when the bar was just closing, but the fantastic bartender still allowed us to order drinks. I love the couches and comfy atmosphere. They also play some fantastic music which takes you back to Sun Valley in the 40's and 50's.

Went with my two teenage sons and my very hip nephew and girlfriend. We squeezed into a booth and had an amazing meal. We had a great waitress from France. The language barrier made it fun. The food was uniformly five stars. Every meal at the table tasted delicious. They did lose track of us for a while so we... More

The Ram Restaurant in the Sun Valley Inn is the resort's finest, maintaining a feel of old Sun Valley in the wonderful dining room. The menu items are superb, but we did find the menu a bit limiting - especially compared to Gretchen's at the Lodge. The Ram Bar is a fun and informal place for an apres ski gathering... More

Went to the Ram with friends on Friday night. The place was empty. I was surprised but then again, it is the most expensive restaurant in Sun Valley/Ketchum. The server although very nice did not have a clue about the food or wine. The food was average at best and I am being kind. The presentation was like a diner... More
