We ate here during COVID, so when we arrived for breakfast we were told no inside dining, but we could eat outside. It was 25°, so we took it back to our motel and ate cold sourdough pancakes, eggs and bacon. The do have excellent...pastries and coffees. Nice, efficient staff!!More

Reviewed during the COVID-19 period. We stopped here for breakfast twice, both times, we took breakfast to-go. The first stop was relatively quick because we just had prepared chai latte (w/ almond milk), coffee and pastries (scone and chocolate croissant). All were wonderful. The 2nd...time, I decided to order 'hot' so had to go inside to order. The line was about 3 deep, and took about 10 minutes (I think there was a problem with the person at the front) because my order was taken relatively quickly. I ordered the breakfast burrito w/ meat -- wonderful combination of flavors. There's a few outdoor dining tables if you want to eat there. Most people drove there, but it's walking distance from the local lodge. If we're in the area again, we'll be back.More

I have traveled all over the world, am a foodie, and enjoy what the communities have to offer. The Stanley Baking Company is one of the finest breakfast/brunch and lunch places I have ever eaten at - ever!! My husband and I were visiting Stanley...and the Sawtooth Wilderness for a much needed get away, and being in the shoulder season, weren't sure what we would find in the way of restaurants. We ended up eating here almost every day, either for breakfast, brunch or lunch and were never disappointed. One of the best parts was the offerings they had that were gluten free. In bigger cities, it's often easy to find such choices, but here in Stanley (with its population of 71) was a genuine treasure of a restaurant that had MANY perfect and outstanding choices. No dining inside for now, but the beautiful weather made our outdoor seating absolutely lovely. One day, when it was quite windy, we took our order to go and walked across the street to where our lodging was and ate it in the little dining area available there - how perfect is that? I cannot say enough good things about this place, the staff were fabulous and friendly, the food was fantastic and my experience here was OUTSTANDING!!!More

We stopped into this shop a few times during our stay in Stanley. Their breakfast menu is huge and truly has something for everyone. On the bakery side, we bought their bacon and Brie pastry and cinnamon rolls in bulk and warmed them up for...breakfast on the days we didn’t go in person. Definitely worth a stop! Friendly staff, good coffee and great vibes await you here.More

We were headed out of town and didn't want to stop for breakfast, so we swung in here to pick up some pastries and beverages. They willingly filled my husband's coffee thermos, and I opted for a hot chocolate. Delicious! We picked up a couple...of croissants and scones and headed down the road. Well, we almost turned around to go back and get more goodies! the croissants were light, flaky, and full of good things - bacon and brie, ham and cheese, and chocolate. All three were delicious. The blueberry scone was also yummy - not dry at all and full of blueberries.More

We visited this cute, eclectic breakfast house in a cabin after reading the Trip Advisor reviews. Due to Covid, there was no dining inside and the air was very crisp outside, but the food was worth it. Even with a good number of outside tables,...there was still a line that grew as the morning went on. It would probably be a good idea to arrive earlier in the day. Run by an energetic and accommodating crew, the food was well presented and delicious. Highly recommend.More

As I chatted with other travelers on my road trip, everyone recommended the Stanley Baking Co. Everyone was right. I had the migas and while it was messy, it was delicious. The espresso was great but the best part was the pastry I bought to...go. It was cream filled popover shaped but with croissant like flakiness. Whatever it was, it was a great treat after a hike.More

Stopped for a quick coffee and pastry before heading out of town. Coffee was really good and pastry was delicious. (I also had dessert at the Stanley Hotel which was from here.)

Outstanding breakfast. Highly recommend the scones. But literally everything is good. One of my very favorite breakfast spots...period.

This restaurant is very busy during the morning! Long line for dine in and the grab and go bakery. I recommend the avocado and beets dish and their scones!
