We enjoyed a great relaxing breakfast, with freshly made food. The atmosphere in the lodge is so inviting. I love eating here every time we visit this area.

We were staying at the Lodge for 4 nights so we had all of our dinners and most of our breakfasts at the Lodge. The food was fantastic! Some of the dishes I had never heard of but was willing to try some new things,...and boy, am I glad I did! Everything was delicious. The service couldn't have been better. Breakfast was also very good - nothing fancy, except for the French toast, which was to die for.More
The lodge is in an amazing location but expect large crowds. The young help is not trained well and not helpful, unfortunately. Could be so much better.
Literally one of THE BEST MEALS EVER! We decided to sit in the bar/lounge area instead of the restaurant because it was a cozier atmosphere, but asked the bartender, Sklyer, if we could get the Gnocchi even though it wasn't on the bar menu. He...said since it wasn't busy yet, they could make it happen. And boy did they!! I ordered the cornbread with candied jalapeños, the heirloom tomato salad and my friend ordered the mushroom tart and sweet corn soup and we decided to share the gnocchi. ALL of it was perfectly prepared and great presentation. And the blend of flavors sublime. We were literally moaning after every bite. The salad ingredients and the mozarella were extremely fresh...and the pesto and pine nut granola provided both a satisfying fresh crunchy texture with a bit of sweetness to contrast with the vinaigrette and pesto. The gnocchi was my friend's favorite dish. I hate mushrooms so focused on the gnocchi which was delicious! She really appreciated the generous portion of mushrooms both in the gnocchi and the mushroom tart. The cornbread which was served in a skillet was THE best I have ever had! The texture was fluffy and the flavor amazing. It was like eating dessert.More
My family enjoyed a nice dinner here at the lodge. We had high expectations after hearing so many great things, but all expectations were met and more. Our server Maggie was amazing. I have never heard dinner specials presented so well, I was quite impressed....So well presented that we all ended up getting that nights specials. Thanks again for a great time!More
There had been a mixup on a different reservation and they went out of their way to make us welcome. The menu is limited and worthy of a five star restaurant. My prime rib had a little too much gristle for my taste but all...in all it was very good.More
We camped at Glacier View for 5 nights, and celebrated completing hiking and biking with dinner at the Lodge. Hats off to the chefs: an impressive selection and nice presentations for a remote resort. I enjoyed Idaho trout; my brother had steak. Service was prompt...and friendly. Seating was covid-respectful. We also enjoyed breakfast on our first day. Large helpings and reasonable prices. Highly recommended.More
Thank you so much Bruce. We are thrilled that you enjoyed the experience! Very best!
Don't be caught off guard by pickled radish, beet salad, or artichoke puree -- everything is delicious! Initially disappointed that they didn't serve salmon, but the trout (a type of salmon) was amazing!! For non-seafood and/or less adventurous eaters, try the wedge salad and burger....Welcomes both Redfish & non-Redfish lodgers (we based out of Lower Stanley). Clean dining room & bathrooms. Great cabin fever feel w/an excellent view of the lake. Our dinner experience was so positive, we stopped by on our way home for a latte to go!More
Horrible experience! Horrible management! Most disappointing vacation! I do not recommend this restaurantMore
