La Rosa is a very cool place in one of our favorite towns. Don't let the "club" term fool you. Everyone is welcome and that is exactly how everyone is made to feel. The best treat is to sit at the bar and visit with Tim. He can make you anything your heart desires and has some of his own... More

Tim is THE BEST bartender around! He makes the best martini's. They also have a unique and varied wine list to go with their delicious small plates. A fun, inexpensive night on the town!!

With small plate offerings I was able to try a number of the dishes, which friends shared. Good wine selection, too. The chicken is delicious, and the menu variety is impressive. We were in on a Thursday night mid-winter and the place was hopping. Just another reason why I love hanging out in Sandpoint.

Had dinner here and the food was amazing. Good choices for kids too. Sat out on the patio to enjoy the weather.

My love and I decided to have an impromptu date after work. How delightful to find ourselves walking through an enchanted grotto, arriving at a charming patio, and waited upon by an exceptionally competent server. Very nice wine selection to pair with eclectic yet accessible small plates menu. My favorite was the tempura battered golden beets with pesto aioli. Yum!

Love this place so much that every time we have a vacation babysitter I can't bring myself to try any other restaurants! Supper great rotating cocktails with fresh ingredients and never too sweet (try the spicy watermelon margie). The patio is perfect and love the view of the lake. Last year the even had a young local girl singing and... More

We were so looking forward to dinner at LRC after reading so many great reviews and looking over the menu. We got a table and tried to order only to find out they were out of all mushroom and lamb dishes. What a disappointment! They should have started with that information before we ordered drinks and apps.

Love the clams in a garlic sauce! Excellent bar, fantastic menu items, and really terrific wait staff. And... they have live music too!

SO glad to have found La Rosa via Trip Advisor! The ambiance was outstanding. . .so cute, quirky and quaint! We loved it even before we saw the menu! And what an amazing "hello" from the bartender and staff immediately upon entering. They have excellent tapas with very interesting options. . . we ordered several of them. Every single dish... We had a hard time finding our way into the dining room as the front door was locked. We were the only ones seated in there but saw some others trying to find their way in also. The outdoor area was full. Overall, the restaurant is well decorated but the food and service was off that evening. I ordered a... More
