Recommend for a glass of wine and some appetizers only. The pizza was disappointing, so avoid -- there are far better options in the area. We tried both the margherita and the spinach, bacon & blue varieties -- they were equally fair to terrible. Luckily,...the wine is the focus and you really can't go wrong. Nothing overly complex here; everything is very drinkable.More

The wine is good, decor nice food looked good. People and service was great. The guy playing music last night was way to loud. Music in a winery should be more shuttle, people come to sip, visit, enjoy. We were trying to celebrate we came...to Sandpoint special. We could even chat until his break. Oh and we are not "considered old" lol, he just didnt need to huge speakers.More

We stopped in at the wine bar for a glass while waiting for our reservation to start at The Fat Pig which is next door and shares an interior connection. A nice variety of wines. The employees are friendly and very knowledgeable about their wines....They have refillable magnum bottles for take out.More

We stopped by here for a glass of wine while in Sandpoint. It is a very relaxing atmosphere, good service and good wine. A nice retreat from a day of shopping.

My husband and I almost walked by on our way to another eatery, but when we heard the live music we were drawn in. We grabbed a couple of seats at the bar and ordered beers...yes, we're those people. Justin was behind the bar, along...with Jamie and others who treated us like regulars. The pizza was great, as was the salad and shrimp cakes. We enjoyed a couple hours of great music from Ryan Jacobs, who we will be looking forward to seeing again locally. Before we left, Justin asked us to try a couple of their favorite reds. These beer drinkers ended up bringing home a bottle of the Reserve which we'll be sharing with friends soon. Looking forward to visiting again and again. We have lived in the area for 17 years and feel we have been missing out. So glad we finally found this gem!More

Walked from our hotel and spent the evening eating and wine tasting. Their flight of wines was excellent and we purchased 2 bottles to take home. Clean and friendly!

The menu had some great looking pizzas and I saw some on tables that looked great. However, the spinach salad caught my eye. I added the salmon option an dit was really nice. Service was friendly. I was happy to sit outside in the great...weather with my dog. Next time, I'm getting the pizza!More

Walking through the handsome downtown area, most restaurants felt a little sleepy. That is, until we walked into Pend d'Oreille Winery. The warm glow of the lighting, comfortable tables and informal gathering areas were a welcome retreat after a day of snowshoeing. But it was...the piano accompaniment by Dwayne that made it a truly memorable evening. We dined on excellent flat bread pizza and delicious appetizers while enjoying Dwayne's gifted artistry. We genuinely wish Pend d'orville Winery was in our hometown as we would definitely be regulars.More

Just about a year since we last stopped in and it is just a nice as ever! Love the staff and the music, when they have it, is always top notch! They have pretty much mastered the 11" pizzas as they have a nice brick...oven quality . Glasses of wine are reasonable but you get a better dolar value on a bottle. The Bistro Rogue is always solid. I still love their Cab Franc. My wife is a tap beer lover and can usually find a good IPA.More

This little gem provides a terrific spot to enjoy a winter evening in a perfect setting. We went for the 5-8 pm live music and the place was comfortably full. The lighting, pizza, wine, and ambiance hit a perfect spot with us. Plus, the prices...are very reasonable and the simple menu is creative and tasty. Try the cheeseboard for starters and maybe the Greek lamb pizza. A really great experience!More

The winery is located in the heart of downtown Sandpoint and parking is available nearby. We arrived for a wine tasting on a weekday, just after it opened. The atmosphere is pleasant and relaxing and the wines were all good. I especially liked the bicycle...rack outside that is shaped like a corkscrew--very clever. This was a very enjoyable stop.More

Nice and very comfortable wine bar on Cedar Street incthe heart of downtown. Smart, even chic decor, comfortable furniture, tables with room to move about, and a large tasting bar. The wines are generally good, but prices for bottle purchases are rather high (~$18 to...$35). Our favorite wines are the crisp Chardonnay and the Reserve Cabernet. But all the dry wines were on the acidic side, which will pair well with rich foods, but not so much for afternoon sipping. There is a nice menu of small plates available to accompany wine tasting. Staff was very friendly and pleasant (contrary to what a few other reviews posted). They also have very frequent (almost daily) live music.More

You would think that northern Idaho would not be know for it's wine. Their wine is wonderful. We loved it so much we became part of their wine club! The server was very helpful. Mark took the time to explain the history of the winery,...their wines and the wine club thoroughly. This place will definitely be a regular spot to stop.More

Just driving through town, spied this tasting room and had to stop. I actually have some 2010 Pend o'Oreille Meyer Reserve in my cellar, purchased elsewhere a long time ago. Had no idea there was a snazzy tasting room in Sandpoint! The winery is owned...by one Steven Meyer who employs someone else as winemaker. The red wines are made from Washington grown fruit, and the whites are coming from Idaho's Snake River Valley appellation. We chose 5 or 6 wines to taste (we were in a hurry) and quickly chose a few to take with us on our camping trip. I was extremely disappointed that the tasting cost was not forgiven against purchases--I can understand that in a high tourist foot-traffic area you have to cover your costs, but the pourer should have the flexibility to identify the difference between freebie guzzlers and serious wine tasters, and adjust accordingly--but bottle prices are very decent at around $20/ea for the non-Reserves and $30+ for the Reserves.More
