The Junk yard has the most gourmet food in Salmon. We went to lunch there 2 days in a row it was so good. I recommend the garlic burger, crab salad, and the bowls. Great food and good portions.

We walked in and noticed only one of approximately 6 employees - 2 of whom were cooking - was masked. Not one of the customers was masked. We turned around and walked out.

We stopped here on our first night in the area and were not disappointed. We sat outside on their covered patio since it was a nice evening. I got their Philly Cheesesteak with a house salad and a beer. My husband got the Not Your...Mama's Turkey Sandwich with a sald and beer. Great food, good portions, great service, good prices. Stop in if you're in the area. You won't be disappointed.More

The Junkyard is by far the best lunch spot in town. My kids love their homemade Alfredo pasta and my husband and I always go for the garlic burger, the aioli on the burger is fantastic!!! They have excellent fresh salads and lots good homemade...dressings.More

Great food and drink selection for our evening meal. Food selection was not what i expected for this area. Outdoor seating which we utilized. The staff was very friendly and provided very good service. I would highly recommend this place for a lunch or evening...meal.More

We made a lunch stop here while driving down the “River of No Return”. What a nice surprise! The front looked like an old bar but based on reviews we decided to give it a try. Inside we found a clean remodeled space with interesting...art work on the walls. We were seated at a table and got our drinks promptly. I had the delicious Asian Chicken Salad. All the ingredients were very fresh and crisp. The dressing was a nice blend of an Asian Vinaigrette and Peanut Sauce. My husband ordered had the Turkey Bacon and Smoked Gouda Wrap. He thought it was the best wrap ever. It came with a choice of sides and had potato salad that he thought was very good. I read a couple of the other reviews and while this is definitely not a fast food restaurant, the food was served in a timely manner and the service was very friendly. It takes time to prepare the quality of food they are presenting. I will be sure to return.More

Food was ok, just ok. We were there over an hour & 1/2, not by choice. 1 diet coke no refill, not by choice. Pretty sure our waitress just broke up with her boyfriend, very pissy attitude. I thought we were very patient & understanding....Finally took our orders to go. 2 stars for the back alley ambiance. We were there with locals, we won't be back. No apologies, no thank yous.More

The place is in the old downtown setting and is very narrow, but they do the best they can. The Junkyard burger is god.

This restaurant came with very high reviews so we thought we would give it a try. First thing we noticed was that it definitely was not covid approved. Waiters and cooks no masks no gloves, menus were not cleaned between customers but just put in...a stack. Tables were not cleaned between customers. Tables close together and all being used. We had the pasta it was good and portions were big. We waited almost an hour for our food and it was prepared wrong. Didn't want to send it back and wait another hour. Service was horrible. Probably won't go back.More

Great restaurant find in Salmon! After looking around we landed on this restaurant/bar and glad we did! Old bar ambiance and really good food and service! We ordered a chicken curry bowl and pasta dish and both were delicious!
